The footy !!

i love how people working in the city know sh!t like that.......i mean, what was he gonna do, start selling shares in mobile phone companies cos of the negative press ashley brings to them.

I must admit my timing was a little off with the above quote but it came out true in the end. She's milking it for everlast drop too, hanging round airports in oversize sunglasses (it's february for fecks sake) and generally making the most of every photo opportunity.
I wish she would quietly fade away and please please please DO NOT release anymore records.

no chance, there will be a Living TV series 'life after ashley' loads of naff magazine deals 'wasn't I so badly done to' and no doubt another series of X-factor rubbish around the corner

Another clear penalty not given. Robbed again!! It's a conspiracy, damnit! :?

No worries... we'll win the 2nd leg at home. And we've got the away goal.

(talking about Chelsea v Inter, of course)

Watched CSKA v Seville too. The Russian team did relatively well for not having played since November.

and if i see jose looking in estate agent windows near me on march 16/17th then i know mancini will be off in the summer !

Another FA Cup for us then

That and the Premiership will do us. I don't see us winning the CL this year but I'll hold out hope until Inter come to London...

Apart from his kick the back door well and truely in free kick and the odd turn did you think drogba looked a bit tired?

Liked mourinos positive subs even though their effectiveness was debatable. You will win one nil at home.

Speaking of Jose, 130 consecutive home
league games unbeaten how crazy is that?!

It was def a penalty but I reckon he never got it because of the way he threw his arms up in the air (the way most players do when they actually dive). If he'd just hit the deck he would've had a better chance of getting it.

Mourinho's home record is immense.

It felt at times like Inter were using against us the same strategy we used against Arsenal. Let them play as much as they want as long as they don't get inside the box. Very effectively executed too.

I did think Drogba wasn't especially effective. Wasn't thrilled with Anelka either. Our full backs were our best players.

Also notable: the amount of diving and tumbling over by Inter's players was appalling. They made Drogba look good... and that's hard! One defender who crumbled after a light touch of the shoulder even had Drogba laughing

One other note: the technique Drogba has for shots around a 20 yard distance is amazing. It's a straight kick with little swerve but lots of spin that makes the ball go up over the wall and straight back down. One of the UK papers analyzed it and determined it to be the most effective free kick at that distance from anyone (Christiano Ronaldo included).

Still didn't score though so it's not that effective really.
