The footy !!

Can't say I blame him, although he should have made Terry sweat by coming out and saying he wanted to play but wouldn't play with him. Reallistically, Terry prolly would have still gone, but it would have good to see him twitch.

Missing a World Cup though? Feel sorry for the poor bugger.

What a bonehead move.

Missing a World Cup over this stupid affair, for either Terry or Bridge, is just childish.

I don't know mate. Having to share transport, accomodation and the dressing room with your supposed ex best mate who boned the mother of your child :?

It wouldnt make for the best dressing room atmosphere

Ya but you should be man enough to get over it for a couple of weeks if you're playing in the friggin' World Cup, don't you think?

what a tit.

talk about bottling it........jesus man, get a grip, get your chest and don't let the f*ckers keep you down.

he's only going to regret this for the rest of his life.

Nah, i don't agree. I do think he'll regret not taking part in the world cup but put youself in his shoes.

you'd never be able to ignore the fact your ex-good mate pumped your bird. If that doesn't bother you then I dont knwo what will, especially spending every day with the guy.

you'd end up goin for him.

Saturday could be intersting!!

do you think he can change his mind if this saturday kompany/de jong/zabaleta/a.n.other city player goes through terry and ends his season??

and i don't mean 'goes through' in the terry/bridges-ex way :)

Isnt it just tabloid talk anyway :? If not then maybe he's thinking more about the etam spirit than himself.

What happens if Ashley C(h)ole isnt fully fit, then we might have to force him on the plane !!

..he's only going to regret this for the rest of his life.

Especially if we went on and won it  :spank:

Not childish mate. Imagine if your mate had been with your missus. Would you want me to stuck in a hotel in Africa with him? I'd be punching his lights out every morning before breakfast if it was mine.

Bridge has done what is best for the team. There is enough circus involving the England squad and brand Beckham rolling into town as it is. Don't think it is any real loss though as Bridge is ok but he will be exposed cruely in the world cup.

Back onto Terry Morbs, do you think he is struggling with it all? His form has been iffy. At fault for the goals at Everton and looked shaky against Inter. Probably nothing to do with him getting his legover but just having a wobble. I think Chelsea will progress still against Inter. Away goal always helps.

Certianly going to be lively this weekend. Who do we reckon will go for Terry first?? I would have said Bellamy before but he sadly has calmed down a bit. I reckon Tevez will have a nibble, bit of history there.

I'm looking forward to the non handshake. I'd love it if he just nutted him.

However I think he needs to get some balls. Explain to your kid in years to come why you did not do to the world cup - as someone nobbed his ex. Pull your self together man.

kinell!!

what a conundrum!!

firstly, will bridge regret this in 10 years time? hell yeah!! thing is, how can he know this now?

his best mate has been nobbing his bird (albeit ex) for some time, does he want to spend time with him? does he fook, as someone already said, I would be ripping the guys face off at every opportunity!!

Johnny, I ask you this......if you were to discover that the lovely mrs mann was having a little liaison with your line manager at work, would you be up for going to the big conference and supporting him?

My honest opinion? If she and I had separated and were living in separate cities, I really don't think I could complain. I wouldn't like it, of course. And yes, I'd probably hate the guy. But that's beside the point.

I'm not saying Bridge and Terry should be best friends. But we're talking about getting a job done here. No one's going to force them to sit at the same table at mealtime or to sit next to each other on the team bus or plane. They've just got to get on the pitch and play football. It is the WORLD CUP ffs.

Maybe I'm too much of a stoic but I really think Bridge is overreacting. Not helped at all, of course, by the media glare. But he's got to be an adult about this. Sh1t happens. Move on.

Ok, some interesting points there, Im obviously playing devils advocate, I kind of sit in both camps, I will say it's very easy to be stoic when it's not your custard being strirred!!

I only think England will benefit from this as Garteh Barry can then play left back, which is where I wish he would play for City!!

putting myself in his shoes, yes i'd hate it, seeing him and everything. but why should it be me who has to walk away!!

he's letting terry have the satisfaction of getting away with it.

funk that, i'd be there, doing my job, doing my best and making sure the scumbag was ready to be put in his place with a glance.

it's only England anyway - who cares?

the only people who care about Ingerlund are provincial numpties whose own football clubs are too crap for international competition
