The footy !!

Ah yes Garcia, walked past it every day going home from school! Haha

Well looking at recent news, maybe Rubiales might go after all...
This is all snowballing, lots of pressure building.

Title race is tight as [insert proverbial tight thing]. As per last year, I've let my mate who uses my 2 season tickets at Arsenal know not to promise the 2nd one to anyone for the last home game, which is also the last day of the season. Squeaky bum time!

Fun for about 10mins maybe... expanding the Euros comes with the downside of letting some weak teams in
24 is almost half the number of eligible teams; 54. If they really must have so many, the lowest 16 seeded teams should have a knock-out to leave 8 + the remaining 8 seeded teams then have the group stage. But more teams = more fans = more TV = more money. Cynical, me, no??

Agree. Next World Cup is going to have 48 teams and a round of 32. Who's more greedy FIFA/UEFA or Ibiza club owners? 🤔😃

Hardly convincing from England tonight, but I would've taken 1-0 before the game.

I'd describe it as clunky. 1st half alright, 2nd half poor.

But got to remember some of our better tournaments we've started the same. Euro96 against Switzerland was drab, hardly inspiring against Tunisia in 2018, snuck a 1-0 against Croatia in 2021 etc etc

I know Scotland play their second match later, but it would be helpful to them if there were a load of draws in other groups, so one win might take them through, seeing as four third-placed teams qualify.
