The Footy... (2011-2012 season)

wont happen. I expect the "out" door to be the busier iof the two in Jan, who knows, perhaps even wayne bridge will take the hint.

Intruiging tie at the lane tonight??

Why would you, when some oil fund is paying you 70k more than anyone else is willing to pay?!

Intruiging as in we'll get hammered! :spank:

Should have been! Any other day and Sturridge buries that rebound, Drogba's splendidly skillful shot goes in the top corner instead of hitting the woodwork, and Ramires guides that free header into the gaping goalmouth. 4-1!

Of course, no reason why that Adebayor goal was ruled offside so could have gone the other way too

I was happy with a draw!! ;)

p.s

£85 million spent on Caroll & Torres

5 = goals between them since

You need match fitness and game time to get goals...Carrol certainly hasnt been given a decent enough chance...Torres was although he has been stuck on the bench a hell of alot of late.

Yeah, bring on Man U!!! To be fair to Steve Kean, he's a damn good coach and I admire the guy's fortitude and character BUT he's hopelessly out of his depth as a Premiership manager. Reminds me of Ray Harford- great coach but he couldn't manage a decent fart:(
He's not helped by Venky's who undertook to write off the club's debts when they took over. We made £22 million in transfers in the summer aided by the sale of Phil Jones to Man Utd and spent less than 6 million in return. So how come Barclays have come out publicly to say that if they don't recieve £10 million by midnight on New Year's Day then they will stop Rover's credit facility? It stinks to high heaven and it breaks my heart. :(

There are rumour links he's kept in the role through gangland links that are the sole reason he's still in the job. Sounds boIIocks but feasable through the results.
