I think your correct I never saw one at concrete, but Fabric in London has one and one with a rather big presence as most of the balcony floor is tables now
 
Don't like the idea of VIP myself, but what's people's opinions on the fact that the clubs are so busy you can't even move around let alone dance anymore. Examples circoloco, amnesia terrace, Pacha and the bottle neck area and the terrace space closing 2016. I can honestly say it's ridiculous and spoils it a bit for me.So with that in mind having the space to dance in the VIP section is quite appealing nowadays for me , although I'd probably look a knob to some people I wouldn't give a f&&k as I'd be off my tits anyway. I won't feel important either but feel better knowing I haven't been dancing in a tin of sardines all night long.

Although I like the idea that they will try and sort the traffic/getting around the club issue, ultimately they should stop being so greedy and lower the amount of people coming through the doors each night.

Will I be going to hi ? I loved space, it has a place in my heart. It won't have the same vibe but neither did space compared to when I first went early 2000's. But if the right night is on when I'm there I will probably go, cos I'm a shallow f&&ker who's not too set in his ways and Will try most things once.
Looking forward to seeing all you traiters at hi!;)
 
I'm not sure the doubt directed at Hi or Ushuaia is not just because Space has closed. Ibiza has been heading in a direction for years that concerns people. A simple thread like this shows you that. Ushuaia and i would suggest Hi lack a key ingredient and that's Soul. You may not think you have felt it but if you have been to to the old Space terrace , DC10 terrace before they encased the place, Pacha's Global room , Coco Loco at Privi or Underground or Pikes on a good night you will know exactly what i mean. You can't create that club feeling as we're all one when you too busy looking at yourself. I don't doubt Hi will be a good club with great production but i have a feeling it will be the same soulless selfless "show" that Ushuaia is.

I'm sorry i just don't think that should be at the top of tree where Ibiza is concerned. The VIP crew will move on same as they always do. I pray Ibiza finds itself again because it isn't St Tropez after all

Ibiza is mega fashionable right now, and so yeah, the VIP crew have descended en masse. With luck they'll move on sooner rather than later, and before they ruin the place completely.

I only hope some of the people on this forum, who say they love the island but don't seem to have any concern for the points you make, move on with them.
 
All this talk of change on the island is starting to stress me out for my trip this year. Different bars, clubs, changes in the laws but more importantly what if my dealer has gone. That really would tip me over the edge

I remember that very well, especially one night in 2005 or 2006 where we spent hours just behind Jeff Mills, in a trance looking at him work his magic.

Mills the master, one of the few djs i actually enjoy watching. I remember the first time i caught him it was around 2008 and I wasn't quite aware of how aggressively he Dj'd and i was in utter shock. Last saw him at Awakenings in 2015 and he is still phenomenal.

Same. My first experience of Space was landing in Ibiza at about 12am, getting into Space just after 2am. Watching Mark Fancuilli warming up the room then Jeff Mills coming on and as an 18 year old lad, I had never heard music like it. Then that view from behind the DJ box out into the Discoteca. Quality

This was in 2014 and you could if you had an Artists Pass... I still had mine on my wrist from playing there 3 weeks earlier, so i just waltzed on in there... :eek::cool::D

Nope this was 2015, think I remember my holiday hahaha. I just walked up there when Luciano and Josh Wink without any bother?

I think i'm getting confused here... My video is from Sept 2014... There's only been a few other times that i've been up there... Space Closing 2014 might have been one of them... I remember Nina Kraviz arriving for her set in the Discoteca, then later on in the morning, we were all sat on the Sunset terrace steps having a break at about 8am... Kraviz was still blasting out the tunes in the Discoteca, but we went to see Coxy on the terrace... :)

I'm not saying anything about the video :spank: I'm just talking about space in general, everyone on here is saying that past like 2008 you was unable to go up by the decks but I did at the closing in 2015 so am curious why. Good video tho!!
