The building formerly known as Space --> HÏ Ibiza

same goes for the beach clubs. they used to be simple chiringuitos where you got good fish or paellas at decent prices. not cheap, but no rip-off. now you've got VIP tables even there and that is just ridiculous.

Thats one of the things that p*sses me off the most about this whole thing. That (nearly) every chiringuito is going down the route stivi outlines. Day beds, VIP , minimum spend, waitresses all in black or white , "champagne sponsor vueve cliquot" b*llocks. I just want a simple day at the beach with some reasonably priced nice food (preferably local) and no pretentiousness, but its becoming harder to find.

Yeah I know. Bringing 2 local legend djs with us.1 playing vinyl and 1 using laptop so that will tell you the age group. Bar sorted for Saturday night so the Cider and Guinness might be scarce on the island for a few weeks..:)

i don't care about vips in beach clubs but what has happenned with chiringuitos brings tear to my eyes!! and to top that, the owner of Can Pujol died last sunday!!! :(

Well isn't BCM classed as one of the best clubs in the world? pretty sure that is a 'proper' club

I went to BCM in the mid 90's and i guess it could loosely be described as "proper" club. In comparison to what was going down in Ibiza around that time i would describe it as "laughable"

Unfortunately in all honesty some of the Ibiza club scene is probably on par with what BCM offers. If it is anything like it used to be. You get what im saying im sure..

Formentera is your friend..

Who recognises bcm as one of the best clubs in the world lol. Surely not.

In general I don't mind the British crowd, yes there are plemty knobs but sometimes Spanish Italian crowds can be quite arrogant too. I hate the groups that: don't let you past when your trying to walk through, :barge past you without saying excuse me, :make eye contact with you but don't acknowledge you with a simple smile or hello etc.
Some people actually look miserable in ibiza haha
