Summer Dieting....

Well at least I know Miss FL and I are not the only people trying to get into shape for our Ibiza trip! Being in a bikini for six days straight will scare any girl into a serious workout routine!

Good luck everyone with your goals and yes Morbyd, it will mean giving up beer! I hope we get to run into you again this year!!

anyone else wanna chin that cnut on the volvic challenge??

"I feel great, I feel alert, I feel active..........watch out boys"

Tosser!! I feel great, alert and active after 4 san miguels!!! and it doesnt turn me into a poof either!! :spank:

Aww that guys a f**kin bell end!
I hate it when he says he's just nipped out of work for 5 minutes for a 'cheeky' volvic!
I mean who nips out of work for a drink of friggin water? And never mind that, where the hell does he work that he's not allowed to drink water????

Diet update - first week of trying to curb my appetite and exercise!

I haven't been pigging out as much, trying to eat healthily but not starving myself of the things I love.
I've also done two 6k runs this week and loads of walking :)

And the result is......

1kg down from last week :spank: I might aswell be eating curries every day!!

Your post earlier this year about that run you did got me thinking and I signed up for my first run, a 10k in July. If i complete it it will be a big 'ting for me, considering i couldn't run for a bus with my ex-smoker lungs 12 months ago.

Im on the summer diet too. Been going gym more and trying to eat abit better. I do think exercise is the key. it helps that a mate is doing it too so we arrange to gym so u feel like u cant let the other person down.is a good way to do it. we are doing a weigh in next week. i weighed myself after a work out with my kit on and was 79.9kg so will see if ive lost anything after couple weeks

It does take a while. I hate giving up so much glourious food, but you need to keep your head down and be commited to the cause.

I started in January and to date dropped from 87kg to 79kg. I got stuck around 80kg for a couple of weeks, but the last 10 days done lots of walkiing and have taken marmite rolls to work (instead of chunks of mature/vintage chedder)

And in the evenings either a very small meal or an egg roll.

As much as I want to pig into lashings of curries, chineese and mexican - I tell me self NO.

That's actually pretty good in a week, any more and it's hard to keep off. Don't forget muscle weighs more than fat too ! Keep up the good work :)

Well done! I started running about a year ago and I was the same as you. I couldn't even run 100m without giving up and getting bored. I'm an ex smoker well occassional smoker  I had no stamina what so ever!
It is so libertating being able to run now. Although I still ****ing hate it!

Well after 2 weeks we had a weigh in today and ive lost 1.8kg , pretty happy with that!
Well done!

I weighed in today too for the first time in a week, but as I was traveling for the past week (with 5 of those days in Italy) I had taken a break from the diet. No way I was going to pass up pasta, risotto and pizza

The good news is.... I didn't gain any weight :D
(last time I was in Italy, 9.5 years ago, was the measurable point at which I stopped being very thin )

So, back on the diet as of yesterday...3 kilos left.

update:
since back from Madrid I haven't been able to go back to my diet as there were many temptantions on my way! but the good knews is that as you Morbyd I didn't gain any weight! witch I think it is because I have ate whatever I fancied but small amounts of each or at least not as much I would have eaten in other conditions( summer+bikin) jejejeje

My theory is that, besides not overeating too much, I had a lot more exercise while on this trip than I would back home. Probably the same for you, Mikkak!

It was my weigh in today also, im maintaining my weight now (as im a gold member upon reaching target) and i have lost 0.5lb this week , god knows how with the amount of wedding cake i've been eating

well I have put on 4lbs in about a week  I can't stop eating!! I am even stuffing a twix in my mouth as I write!

Mmmmm.... Twix
Bought one of those for myself as a reward a couple of weeks ago.
Only ate one of the two sticks though... put the other in the fridge and forgot about it.
Might be time for another reward
