Summer Dieting....

78.5 today for me!

Just of out for a 7k walk, having just had another lighweight evening meal!

Hopefully 78 tommorow morning! which would be a 9kg drop since Jan!
 
I think its good to keep weighing down to a minimum. is easy to get deflated if you see too many non results. im doing no more than every 2 weeks
 
Well done! I started running about a year ago and I was the same as you. I couldn't even run 100m without giving up and getting bored. I'm an ex smoker well occassional smoker :lol: I had no stamina what so ever!
It is so libertating being able to run now. Although I still ****ing hate it! :twisted:

:lol: I know what you mean, it's great to eb able to cover long(ish) distances but it's till painful:lol:

Today may have taken a dent out of my dieting :cry:
Had a family bbq so a whole afternoon of beers and sausages and was very hungover from having lots of beers the night before!
I think beer is the problem!
 
Almost at the end of week 3 now and I've dropped another 1kg woohooo.

BUT - I am going on holiday tomorrow for four days to Sonar, back for a week then off to Croatia for 11 days :spank: This is going to throw my diet right out of synch. I almost want to cancel the holidays so I can stick to my diet (joke lol)

On the brighter side, just signed up for a half marathon in september, so that should defintely get me into shape! :)

I know what you mean! With all the traveling I did over the past couple of weeks there was no progress at all (although, thankfully, also no regress). I find it really frustrating! :evil: Back on the dietary track this week though... hope to drop another kilo by week's end.

17 days until we hit the beach in Montenegro... but still 3 kilos to go :confused:

i started my healthy eating kick back a gd few months ago and have managed to lose a stone and 3lbs, still a long way to go but i already feel alot more comfortable with myself and not dreading the bikini as much now. got another month to go before the holiday so hopefully another half stone of, was exercising but the laziness has kicked in and really can't get motivated to keep going, although my eating habits have changed completley so the weight is coming of slowly, horray :lol:
 
I want my 6 pack to show but those flippin giant galaxy bars are getting in the way! I go to the gym every day I'm mega fit but got a nice layer of lard over my abs which are solid underneath lmao

It works, but once you stop using SlimFast you're likely to go back to bad eating habits and gain the weight back. Better to balance your meals the opposite - a decent breakfast, a decent lunch, then a light dinner.

Try Muscle Milk Light and work out. The Muscle Milk Light will give you loads of good energy especially for working out (and not just the gym - I cleaned the whole house once with the energy I got from one shake) and you won't feel like eating bad food. Loads of protein and vitamins. The regular MM is loaded with fat so stay away; try the light version. :)

I agree, it's the same as the Special K diet breakfast thing, it's okay for a quick fix i suppose but you cant live on it forever can you ;)

I keep trying to tell my friend this, she also sets very unrealistic diet targets like loosing 4lbs a week or something, and then she gets really upset when she only looses 1lb :spank:

Personal trainers will tell you to not pay attention to the scale - you could be heavier after working out but you'll have gained muscle, which is good. I weighed in once at 148 pounds and looked thinner than girls who were 130 and obsessed with the scale.
