San An. .. I like it

Or be those bath salts from last season there's a story of a guy biting people in bossa out his tree on them
Exactly, I think it sends people mad. I just felt, tired and proper off it and good for f*** all. Ain't that what ket does to you? That's something I've never touched. Heard too many bad stories off people.

That's like what I felt like in pacha. Proper f***ed, couldn't focus on shit. Never had a dance in me, which is very unlike me. I just wanted to chill and talk bollocks all night. Not my average pill, defo laced with something else.

Anyway. San An. Similar shit to Pdb. But all new to me and I enjoyed it. Totally right about figueretes. No hassle at all and walking distance to both Pdb and Ibiza old town. Awesome today at Bora and off to Enter closing.

End of the day........ Most amazing island in the world. That's why we're here

We all whinge about it but we all go back year after year after year. I'm still trying to pin point exactly why but we do.

I think it's fair to say that all the people that frequent this site have a soft spot for that crazy little place. I know I do.

There's no place like it in the world. Once it gets into you, it never leaves.

friends just been in in pdb last 5 days... they said its changed alot , much more 'chavvy' as they put it. i think they mean alot more english than say 5 years ago. I wonder what they might have made of staying over the other side? Perhaps expectations need to be levelled. I think they always saw pdb as the more international 'clubbers' side as opposed to boozy brits in san an

People seem to be better behaved in PDB. I didn't see any fights or guys dressed pink mini skits. No one asleep on the floor or peeing in random places!

There were no girls completely abliterated singing adele either.

:)

Figueretas are great to stay in. San An around the busstation are good. Bay-area arent that bad either feels really safe and good +++ hotels for no money at all.
Overall San An arent good except for a few areas. Hotels doesnt feel safe and many are bad ++.

PDB got more chavy and the beach are full of drugdealers, i wouldnt say its ony the brits but more of the wrong crowd that are there now.
Its still worth a visit each trip but i dont want to live there really. Just arent the underground place it used to be. It used to be more scene-people and creative people due it being an oversupply of hotels there. Havent been this in 3-5 years.

And if you want to stay in PDB its best to stay farther up the beach i would say. Overall many hotels are beaten down ++ or shabby +++ which also cost a lot for what you get. Jet is an example of this.

Do you really like drinking on the beach? Will Space/Ush be your staple in the trip? In that case PDB could be worth it.

To be honest there are not really a perfect place to stay in anymore. Im leaning more towards Ibiza town and Figueretas these days.

. Fed up of being hassled by black women trying to grab your wrist and put a band on it and demand money (why the hell don't the police do something about this!)
I agree with this bit. It was my boyfriends first time this year so I warned him about this- the first time we got off the water taxi they actually spread out in formation to try and stop us. Annoying and not nice having to rip my arm away like I had to! (I'm always approached - must look daft :p)

I used to get inconvenienced by the vendors / touts / promo people because if someone engaged me in conversation I couldnt help but politely respond. Then I moved to London a few years ago, I love London but it hardens you to to people trying to get your attention when you're going about your business. Now I walk past blanking them as I do on my commute when someone tries to stick a copy of city AM in my hand. I get zero hassle but must seem rude!

Figueretas all the way for me too nowadays. I like being near the action but far enough away that I can get a bit of peace and quiet when I need it. And you can walk to most places in the PdB - Ibiza Town stretch quite easily.

Spent 4 days in Sa An. Must have walked along the strip at least twice a day. Not once was I approach by a sex worker. Gutted ... !
On the plus side got a few decent pairs of Ray Bons and a photo with the dwarf fire eater guy at sunset. (no offence to short people, I'm not that tall myself)

Heck, take out all that and you're left with a sterile strip of overpriced tourist traps full of aggy-aggro coke-heads instead :D !

I've always stayed down Figueretas or the area known as Es Vive, like the closeness to Ibiza town and the walking distance to Space. Nice and chilled down on Figueretas promenade for grabbing a bite to eat and some drinks, spending a few hours just chilling.

One thing I did feel regarding Figueretas this year is that some of those apartment buildings on the promenade were looking a bit run down this year, no idea whether they are residential or used for the usual short term holiday lets but they definitely looked more run down compared to other years. That aside you def don't get the hassle of pr's / dealers like in PDB or San An.
