San An. .. I like it

ive taken to parkng in PDB and walking along from there.....should have stayed in PDB or San An.....never mind.

its a shame the wasteland next to the Lux Mar(which is where im staying) has turned into a pay carpark

Nice, I just bought a Harrington. Apparently, a staple of any 40 somethings wardrobe.

Baracuta or one of the modern ones ?

Not a Harrington - but my Navy Terrinda got an outing at Mambo closing :D ... it doesn't get out much and couldn't resist :spank:

Lets just say its a ""Harrington" style*. With my new polo shirts, i look like an extra from This Is England.

*Baracuta would have been nice.

Only the wearer can really tell most of the time ! Got an old Merc one somewhere but it hasn't been aired for years. Might be time to dig it out !

figueretas:
nightmare. too close to town. too much cement/buildings/construction.
water quality especially in main season more than questionable.
often no clear water, weird stuff floating under water.
ugly tacky boring beach.many strange people ...
i need a rental car and there is NO fckng parking in main season and even in pre/after-season their is also no parking available. if you find a spot finally chances are high that someone crashed in your car in the night and you have scratches/dents in your car because their is just no fckng space in that area.
to make things worse i can feel almost NO "ibiza-vibe" in that area , more like gran canaria or something like that ...

I agree with this mostly, I like the idea of Figuertas in that it has a beach and is close to Ibiza Town and PDB without the hassle of PDB but the beach isn't very nice and when there I kind of feel like I'm just sitting at a roadside...it's not very relaxing.

In saying that, I stayed four nights in a very cheap, not very nice hotel in Figuertas having just spent five nights in a nice hotel in what is essentially paradise...Formentera, so it was always going to be difficult to follow that.

Stayed in Sta Eulalia one year for five days around Easter time and enjoyed it, would definitely go back there if visiting around that time of year again.

Stayed in Es Cana this summer, the main beach isn't great but what is really, really good about Es Cana is that on one side you have Cala Martina which has a great campsite and adjoining hippie bar (and a couple of other restaurants on the beach) and the other side you have Cala Nova which is a lovely beach and you can have lunch at Atzaro which is, again, brilliant. So you can basically dodge the centre of Es Cana and have two very different, but both very good options on either side. Bit of a pain in the arse to get to and from clubs though...

^^ only real thing which deters me from Sta Eularia and Es Canar is the road from Ibiza Town in Season - just awful for traffic. If they'd sorted that out to be a Ronda before it all got overdeveloped I'd likely stay over there as it's a very handy location for a load of nice beaches on that side of the island.

I've been stuck in that twice in off season. I guess it was the school run as it was about that time of day.
