San An. .. I like it

I've never had any problems with any sales people in the drugs sunglasses or sex trade just a no thanks and no eye contact works for me or try selling them some gear back it really confused them had a right old laugh with a salesman called samba while having a drink outside hard rock he ended up having a drink with us too I've learned in my oldish age not to judge people for what they look like or do for a living most are good people

I have no problem with the lucky lucky men, just polite no thanks and all fine. Some even say thanks back lol.

The few women along front trying to shake your hand and stick a band on and charge you for it are another matter. Very aggressive and persistent. Even when you're direct and firm about saying no!

Everyone has to make a crust and I don't think selling bands or "sunglasses" was Thierry initial career choice, so I always try to bare that in mind.

This was the final straw for me this year. I was walking behind a couple who were in my hotel, both of which had learning difficulties. They were mobbed by a group of women on the promenade who attempted to force the guy to take his wallet out....at this point I intervened (maybes foolishly) and was told by the women to F off and my face would be remembered and I was a marked man. Not a nice incident...its a shame as I can tolerate most things but not legal mugging.

San An can be a great place...its just no longer for me but clearly something is right as thousands upon thousands of brits and others go there every year.

I'm still a San An fan after maybe 8 trips! So many good memories of the sunset strip, kanya, sunsea bar, etc when I first went. I do hate the groups of women and my mate got 20 euro snatched out his back pocket after trying it on with them wrist bands! He was mullered though :D

I dunno, for me San An after dark still has that crazy vibe if you stick to Itaca, HUSH, plastik which sets you up nicely for the clubs but a clamp down on these groups of women really is needed. No problem with the looky dudes had a laugh with some of them over the years!

We always go to the west end (Mainly HUSH) for a few and its funny but stick to the right bars and you won't see some of the downsides.

Can't see me giving it up anytime soon :D (even though the Mrs hates me going)

I've stayed in San Antonio and it wasnt as bad as expected but i wouldnt do it again. PDB is pretty disgusting...fun for a night out but way too much of a 'Brits Abroad' vibe and its hard to escape anywhere in the town. No locals at all.

It's all about Figuretas if you ask me. Ibiza Town is out my budget but you can walk there and you're a short taxi or bus to PDB.

That is poor and can understand why you would feel that way. I would have done the same thing.

Think you missed my point, but I will respect your opinion. If I remember rightly you also took umbrage to another point about something similar.

As a side, I don't take too kindly to being called a 'fool' and a 'f***in idiot' so you may want to have a think about the terminology you use and not resort to being abusive to try and get whatever point you are trying make across?

I love San an. Never really had a problem as such. Keep yourself to yourself and a "no thank you" then your fine. I do remember breaking my ibiza virginity though. First time back in 2002 I never really knew much about the lookys or the women with the bands. I was up by the pacha shop at the top of the West end and a group of women surrounded me calling me handsome etc, she held out my hand and started tieing some string around my wrist, saying it will bring me good luck. I was about to walk off and she demanded 10 euro, I told her to f*** off and threw the cnut on the floor. They all started hissing at me then wtf?? Eversince that I don't let them come close to me, just a simple "no thank you" works.

Cheap and cheerfull. Never had any problems the looky looky men i end up having a laugh with because although its every 2 seconds they come just smile and say "im good my man" in my accent they tried to say it which made me howl with laughter

Me and the wife got them to sing oh Mandy (Barry manilow) with us last year quite funny they thought it was great didn't buy any off them though

Tbh, Ive only ever had it twice, both times never enjoyed it. Give me a good jack and jill any day. We bought a few red apples the once from some American lad by the egg. Went pacha on the night, I was totally out of it. I was abit pissed off to be fair as I didn't remember any of the night lol. Had another good un the other year for together night which was the bollocks. Great vibes.
