Indeed great celebration and an excuse for a knees up however she is not quite as common as the rest of us is she?
yep, that's why I put it in quotes !
Most Commoners don't have millionaire fathers and go to one of the best private schools in the country!
I think our future King is definitely punching above his weight.....
He's no future king of mine.
I choose not to subscribe to any of this deeply offensive culturally inherent bull$hit.
But have a nice weekend all the same everyone!
Whether you choose to recognise it is your own personal choice.
Yep - got that right...and isn't it great that we have this thing called choice.
If the office was open I'd be in tomorrow. I'm lucky to be able to work flexible hours and enjoy what I do so a day out is neither here nor there really.
The partners in the business are also great friends of mine - and I'm with them on this.
Days off are great but when they're granted so rich people can wack off in front of us, in times of economic crisis...as a motive to 'cheer up the nation'?
It's patronising.
...and before anyone accuses me of being miserablelol
life is great! I have my own communities that come together irrespective of whether the disproportionately wealthy tell me when and where to have fun.
...
On another note - that video is hilarious...loving the ruck sack comment and hand gestures to back up the claim.
Fearn Cotton on constant Royal coverage on the radio......![]()
I am of course ever so slightly biased, as I come from an Army background where it's pretty much blasphemous to speak ill of the Royal Family !

it's the establishment reminding everyone who's boss but at the same time yeah let's make the peasants feel good for the day - at least it gets them off our case.
I'm happy for the extra day off. Not so much the other stuff. As a bloke, weddings rank a '0' on my give-a-sh!t-ometer, royal or not. I shall be getting up early for a forage/walk; get to avoid the coverage (not that that's too hard to do anyway) and even less chance of bumping into anyone else in the woods.![]()
haha! I agree with you there - I personally like GOING to weddings, just not the build up and hype!![]()
national pride
rain on anyone's parade.![]()
Nationalism isn't something to celebrate. It doesn't resonate at all.
Feel free to have fun on my behalf though - the last thing I want to do is rain on anyone's parade.![]()
