review of the new lebanese restaurant inside MiKasa, the new boutique hotel next to ocean drive. can't remember the old name of the place (mackie help) but it used to be a hotel before.

the restaurant is up on the terrace, nice open-air place obviously with terrific views over to dalt vila. we had the tasting menue which is 35€ per head plus drinks. not cheap, but also not too crazy for ibiza IMO. we all thought the quality AND quantity of food was fantastic. those who know me will affirm I am a really big eater and we couldn't finish it all! so if you are a group of 5, I'd order the tasting menue for 3 people only or max 4.

this place (hotel and restaurant) to me is a place in the category of 'one to watch' because they plan to keep the hotel open all year round and might even do a few events there in the off-season.

recommended.

yes some friends of mine stayed there last week and said the same of the tasting menu :)

if in ibz town and u don't want to lose time for lunch/dinner
this place owned by french, is quiet nice & cheap for grilled meat, i found my meat fresh, thing we can blame for cheap places (can Mario close to coolture coffee, Taxi queue, los rosales pdb close to vistamar)

Order for 2 people...
I dont know if ill have time for proper lumch/dinners for Closing :?: as no way to spend money on food that don't deserve it..
In restaurants it depend on plates u order
E.g. in Sa Trinxa I'll order their seafood spaghetti :) as their octopuss doesnt worth it:confused:
In es rebost de can Prat I didnt like their arroz de matanza

Evening folks, looking for a recommendation for a restaurant in or near PDB for a meal at Sunset, not precious on style of food. Also if anyone can recommend a good tapas as well. Cheers

The tapas bar El Zaguan in Ibiza town is now the restaurant Bakio!

Same people as Bai Bai at the end of the port...

any recent reports from Cami de Balafia? I'm as carnivorous as it gets but wondering how I can tempt my veggie gf there?

still a fantastic place to go and still needs pre-booking a week or more in advance normally.
...but for veggies, only thing they have as far as I can remember is their fantastic tomato and onion salad...and grilled veggies.

maybe there's something else, but it's certainly not a veggie heaven!
