Printworks London

Once again liking the look of afterlife line up. Tale of us are playing bristol a week later but this line up is far stronger. Only thing is im at WHP the night before for drumcode so getting arrangments together would be a struggle.

Always a pickle to get too London which is a shame coz id like to sample Fabric or Printworks

Paradise tickets purchased - looking forward to that one.

One thing to note is just how poor the priority ticketing is. The events at Printworks themselves run by LWE are probably the best organized events I've ever attended in every aspect (capacity, sound, lighting, queues). However on the contrary the priority ticket purchasing is arguably the worst I've ever experienced. Emails not coming through, not being able to login and eventually getting in after having to re-register my email address and purchased on 3rd release at £35 a pop. That's without the issues we had trying to download and print tickets for the Knee Deep party we attended.

I wish people would learn and just use RA as their ticketing platform. It's proven and does the job when quite clearly a lot of the others don't cut the mustard (Spotlight's platform aside as they don't sell tickets for UK events :D).

I doubt 1st or 2nd release was ever available they know this will sell out regardless. I managed to get to the tickets at 12:25ish eventually and also on 3rd release. I managed to secure 6 tickets leaving me with 2 spare

They are having tech issues it seems as they have had to resend an email out and 3rd release seems to still be available yet many complaints on facebook about it being sold out

I remember their opening party last year the tickets were a mess but it seems they haven't learnt but maybe this time they have

I mean as much as I am annoyed at ending up with third release tickets, £36 isn't horrific value for money IMO. It's more how poor the ticketing service is. If they improved that, they would be the complete package.

Tale of Us night is what I'm digging as well. Sadly I have plans already! :(
 
Expect an announcement in the next 2 weeks. Possibly next, but there's a lot of announcement coming out with Drumcode Halloween and NYD so it's all gonna be drip-fed

I wish promoters wouldn't drip feed announcements. Could well end up with me not going to this issue's printworks which would be a shame.

Also, they've doubled the capacity haven't they this issue? Wasn't it 3000 in Issue001, now it seems to be 6000 in Issue002. New room?

Oh don't tell me that!! it was 2500 last year....
I know Paradise is going to have two rooms but honestly it ruins the night when they fill it to max capacity
 
Doubled the capacity!! That's ridiculous, was the perfect amount of people for the last series the second they fill the place wall to wall it will all go downhill.

Also don't know if its just me but this series seems pretty poor in terms of line ups! Obviously still a couple to come but over the first series I would have gone nearly ever week, so far there is only 1 maybe 2 I would even consider

Issue two doesn't seem as good but saying that I am pretty sure they struggled to sell out some of the events of Issue one considering 2500 people to purchase so maybe they have pulled back a little and decided to increase the capacity

Where have you seen it at 6000?

Where have you seen this information? The capacity has always been 6000 AFAIK but they simply chose not to sell the full capacity.

I really hope this isn't the case as crowd levels when I attended last time were one of the best parts of the party.

Sorry I don't get what your trying to say. Surely if you are struggling to sell out some events the logical step is not to up the capacity and put on weaker line ups?

The line ups aren't exactly weak....I am saying there are less events than issue one
