Printworks London

Anyone go to The Chems?
I've heard it was phenomenal.
(Plus no queues for the toilets, and v.few ppl recording on their phones)

No queues at the toilets and no one recording on phones was same for Paradise. The venue is proper

Also have to say Richy Ahmed was decent. Jansons - Mode Richy Ahmed remix is a goodun

Should have been clearer re: toilet situ, these were accounts from the ladies on both occasions.

I'm going next Sunday (and possibly popping in Saturday too)

How easy is it to move around downstairs for gigs there? Going to see Django Django in March.

All of the toilet talk i read this as "possibly pooping in Saturday too" gave me a laugh until i realized I'm just delirious at the office haha. Still looking to get to Print, hopefully next year

same here one of the top spots to visit but

arent they closing the venue?

I didn't, wanted to but the fact it was a sunday put me off! Had no idea Hawtin or Leibing didn't show though! Any idea why?
Hawtin’s fight was cancelled, assume Liebing had a similar issue. Poor weather across europe this weekend

If I were at Printworks yesterday and had both Hawtin and Liebgin cancel and I ended up with Luciano playing an extended set I would have thought I had won the lottery :D

Was there on Saturday for Paul Kalkbrenner for the first time. Incredible venue...only issue (which i cant massively blame them for as it was snowing that night) was that anywhere but the dance floor was freezing. Literally came back shivering everytime i went to the toilets, and as mentioned, they arent exactly close!

He played an absolute blinder! Was so good. I was planning on leaving early yesterday as didn't fancy seeing Hawtin. Of course then I stayed til the end! Really good crowd and atmosphere!

Gutted about Hawtin and to a lesser-extent Liebing's travel chaos.
Got to say, Luciano - who was himself delayed - absolutely stepped-up. I'm not his biggest fan, but he's been on the money the last four times I've seen him play. And Sunday was probably the best I've seen him.
