Pacha restaurant

subliminal closing party is a 'special' event, so entrance won't be free. you should be ok for any other nights.

Not sure how'd they enforce this to be honest.

The "70 euros spend per head" is a grey area anyway, as the waiting staff aren't concerned with this policy from what I've experienced. ie. If you only spend 50 euros a head, I'm almost certain nobody's gonna pull you up on it. A lot of diners are there just for the meal anyho and have no intention of visiting the club night after.

Once you've finished your meal and paid, you're free to leave at your own discretion.

And of course there's the fact it's very easy to disappear into the club via the restaurant anyway. I'd imagine this would be even moreso the case on a particularly busy night.

I'm not for one minute condoning such actions or suggesting that people should try this, but it seems to me this "rule" is simply in place to put-off potential piss takers as opposed to genuine customers who want to dine there and then hit the club afterwards.

WIC has nailed it it one there really. Its pretty easy to spend 140/150e per couple in any case.

As what has been stated by a number of people on hear, they have confirmed that the minimum spend is 70euro per person but that this then gets you reduced entry to the club for 30euro.

When I questioned it they said it's because standard entry is 70euro for the club normally so they are offering a 40 euro discount.
I better take the email then that confirms my free entry after the meal :D

Any more news on this?

Was thinking of booking a table for the Cadenza closing party. But as other people have stated, would rather go into Dalt Villa for a nice meal and then on to Pacha with tickets purchased off of here.

With regards to the 'Special event' quote above, we ate at the restaurant for the Subliminal Closing in 2009, and we did not get charged entry fee. Think our spend was around €280 between three. Thats with a couple of bottles of nice wine as well, so its not too pricey in there.

Hi,

I would also be grateful for an update/second confirmation on this free entry/non free entry situation.

Last year my boyfriend and I had a lovely meal before Cadenza and walked straight thru to the club afterwards, so this year we have booked a table for dinner again ahead of All Gone expecting the same treatment...

I'll be really disappointed if they want another 60eur off us to walk from one room to another, especially if we've just spent best part of 200eur in their restaurant.

Are they just trying to warn off piss-takers or is this really the case? HELP!?!?

Thanks :?

FYI my reservation is for next Friday (16th) so not a closing party if that makes any difference.

I will be sure to come on here and let you know how I get on regardless...fingers crossed!

We tried the Pacha restaurant last night on the off chance that there would be a spare table. We waited just inside the door. A very pleasant waitress came by with somebodies order, smiled at us and said she would be back in a moment. Before she had a chance to come back another very pleasant waitress came along and greeted us. I was impressed. She told us she would find out if here was a table and went and spoke to another lady who appeared to be more senior. This lady came over to speak to us. Her manner wasn't as welcoming as the two waitresses seemed to be. She asked if we had a reservation. I told her we did not. She then told us that there was no table available. I thought that was fair enough, it being a Friday night but I did not appreciate her manner though. Maybe she might have managed to be more pleasant if we had a reservation? I don't know what it is with some of the up-jumped staff that work in some of the places down here? It's a shame because the first two girls seemed so nice but the other lady has put us off returning to the restaurant.

Anyway, not to worry. We ended up eating at the El Faro in La Marina. It's past the Amnesia bar. We got served by at least 3 waiters during the meal and all were really nice guys.

I booked a table for two closing nights and got confirmation in writing that we would have entry if we paid 70 euro per head each on dinner.

Evening all!

After a bit of help, have tried to ring Pacha restaurant numerous times (after 9.30pm GMT so they should be open!) on: +34 971310959 but i'm greeted by a Spanish pre-recorded message. Used this number last year and had no problem what so ever getting through to the staff and booking a table.

Not being anywhere at all near fluent in Spanish I haven't a clue in what it says in the pre-recorded message!

Have tried E-mailing Ivano which I know people had joy in previous years doing so at ivano@pacha.com but again, no response - Email was sent over 10 days ago now.

Have also tried via the pacha restaurant website booking form! Eeek.

Does anyone have any alternative numbers I could try or E-mail addresses - or if there is someone who could kindly ring and work out what the pre-recorded message says that would be wonderful!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :p

..... and the club since the last friday of april :!:

They could do with changing the menu. Never a terrible dinner but same for a long time. Hotels reasonably priced. Try mdd at lunch - good stuff.
