Overcrowding

Pure Pacha in August was ridiculous, no room on the dance floor, stairs or roof terrace but probably not comparable to Insane

pure pacha is a busier night than insane. insane is mostly perfectly busy and I think insane closing will be just like that.

Outside opening and closing parties, what nights do we now class as dangerously busy? I mean a few years back Cocoon was dangerous, but the addition of a few more underground parties has helped that.

What "underground" nights are dangerous busy these days?

On the more commercial side of things: I know Pure Pacha can be horribly busy, but is Guetta still as crazy busy as a few years back? Cream? etc

Anyone been to a hawtin night at fabric? Now THAT is overcrowded

Yeah Fabric suffers from what the article above says - you have a problem when 2,000 people are in a club but all want to get into Room 1 for a BIG headliner but the room only holds less than 1,000.

Didn't think it was too bad last time Hawtin was at fabric to be honest. I've certainly seen it far worse! It helped the disperse of punters having a big name in Capriati in room 2, mind.

Paradise and Circo were horribly busy last year, to the extent where you cannot move your arms.

I wish DC would put a cap on the amount of heads it lets in during peak season. Another thing that bugs me is the amount of people who turn up and don't have a clue, like they have just came from Guetta at Ushuaia and are clearly not enjoying themselves and just taking up space. In all just just to get a picture infront of the entrance tunnel.

IMO June is the best time to visit DC.

Good to see club owners are listening to the people on the dance floor, who keep them in business!!! This thread has been going on for well over a decade...:mad:

How busy has Sundays at Space been this season? Doesn't look TOO awful from the pictures I've seen.

Hopefully won't be too bad as I am going tonight.

Cream on Thursday was pretty busy although I've seen it busier. Was dead upstairs so was good to get a breather up there.

Me too! Haven't done Sundays at Space since 2009 and it was pretty packed then but hopefully many folk will be at Solomun instead tonight, or saving themselves for Carl Cox for their Space fix. I noticed that the promoters are offering pre-10pm tickets for 20e and the Facebook pages are pretty quiet.

Yeah I saw the cheap tickets although with the extra you will pay for drinks inside it possibly negates some of the benefit.

It's early to go in as well although I don't always mind that. I quite like it building up crowdwise round about me.

"Dead upstairs" as in the balcony? Can anyone just go up or restricted to vip or people who have paid extra for it?

On Spaces website they sell the Sunday ticket for €20 anytime entry by the looks of it if you purchase another selected night- Cox, Elrow etc
I will be attending Elrow and Sundays closings and Elrow is €58 and Sundays €40 but they do a double ticket for €73! Top deal lol

You can pay €20 extra for balcony access. Well worth the money imo. No shorts allowed though.

The €20 sunday ticket is for early entry only.
The weekend deal you have is a good one. I wouldnt fancy 2 nights in space in a row though.

I think it was restricted to the 'VIP' tickets (see my previous posts on here re this). Mate had bought VIP tickets - main advantage for me was the breathing space and can switch between the terrace and main room :)

Check the site, it sells the €20 before 10pm but if you buy an Elrow ticket etc you can add a Sunday ticket for €20
