i once shared a spliff with howard marks in one of the bedrooms - but the bar at night was a very strange place, it was a sad day when it was knocked down ;)
 
i just bought the movie. Debra and I had some tinto de verano and watched the movie. it was definitely crazy, but much better with the wine. good to watch in the winter until we can be back on the island again!!!

I got a copy about three years ago off Ebay, had to take it to a lab to get it transferred from PAL to NTSC. The tech who did the transfer was quite enamored of me afterward! LOLIt's sad to watch knowing that this wonderful behaviour will never be widespread again on the island. In '05 I had some wild times that reminded me of those days but sadly, on my last trip this year, the whole atmosphere seemed so PC and conservative. Guess good things don't last forever, but we can watch them over and over again on video! And aren't all things better after some wine? LOL
 
The debauched aspect does kind of appeal but it just sounds like a big PR stunt to me.

Manumission was rubbish and sex crazed idiots cruising hotel room corridors ain't classy.

Where's the role play in that? It's just desperation. :lol:
 
I was in the place once........during the day checking it out for a location shoot.

Unfortunatley I saw nothing exciting or debauched.........just my luck!!

Never got permission to film there in the end

i can't believe you got away with this so easily??!! i've looked through all the pics and can't spot you at all!! spill the beans!

so funny seeing people in those pics who would be REALLY embarrassed to see themselves in photos like some of those now!! hehehaha!!:lol::lol:
