warhol in ibiza town is getting refurbished to reopen after three years closed

as you might remember, it didnt happen..... but

they are working on it again so it might reopen this summer

confirmed: it will reopen this summer as cafe del soto

as you might remember, they had problems with the neighbours in the past so its getting properly soundproofed now.....

apparently mondo loco (eden) is in talks with space to do one of the smaller rooms

the other rumoured option, as hed kandi are taking the main room and the funky room in eden on saturdays (which means electricsex will have to move too), is that mondo loco will move to the white room upstairs.....

update: even if mondo loco were about to change of club, finally they will do the funky room in eden on saturdays

apparently tidy have parted company with dave pearce and are not coming back

the reason for it could be because advanced vs tidy didnt bring in the numbers and didnt reflect the cost eden was paying for it and because the tidy boys dont want to do small events like a club night anymore (they want to be at large festivals as they feel they are too old/established to be playing every weekend and just want to make large events like the tidy weekender happen rather than the smaller things).....

update: apparently tidy is back to es paradis after one season at eden

forget about it: apparently they have no plans to come back to ibiza this summer for a residency anywhere

just some one offs, thats all that is planned at the moment.....

now owned by the people behind the new forno antico nearby. with the amount of people that simply fancy grabbing a bocadillo and a can, instead of sitting in a restaurant, these new little places will be money-making machines.....
