a bit sad really (how its degenerated) when it all comes down to it....... and embarrassing..

Deacon said:What you actually say here, though your English is quite bad and difficult to follow, is that I am saying that people who aren't into the same music as I am are narrow-minded and saddening. Where did I say this?

My favourite motto/sayings at the minute... (apart from do less with less.... (from "the mysterious dissapearing Bin thread from Friday")) are: -
Imagination is more important than knowledge (Albert Einstein)
Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. (Groucho Marx.)
Blag whatever you can, whenever you can, and if you get caught, blag a bit more for good measure (DJNC)

FACT!
silvia said:Yes, that's what I said, and that's what I understood. ANd don't come me saying it's because of my poor difficult to follow english, cos if that's the problem we can switch to spanish or catalan and you won't have any problem to understand me or follow me.
macdonsj said:I would like to think that Mr Fanciulli will disregard any negativity as i'm sure that he plays exactly what he wants to play primarily for him as most djs would like to be. If anyone likes it - its a bonus. Otherwise, you'd end up being a jukebox that only takes large bills to play
Deacon said:I agree, I think he's professional enough to take note of anything constructive and dissmiss the rest.
silvia said:They are not "bad" djs, you just don't like their music
DJNC said:Can't wait to do "the Dance" on the the Terrace at space...they'll love it...
Deacon said:Was going to add actually, if you're not English by nationality then fair play, you're doing better than i could do in Spanish, but please don't take what i'm saying out of context simply because you can't follow.
Dan x said:Where did he say that? He merely hinted that they were more "accessable". Not any worse, or any better.
You do love criticising people's thoughts or feelings, and putting negative words in their mouth!
< You use that smilie more than the rest of the board put together!
Deacon said:Fanciulli and Woolford are extremely talented, innovative and exciting djs. Some of the negative and downright narrow-mided views in this thread are saddening. I have seen both these guys destroy the terrace on many occasion now, and they have always got a fantastic response.
People have different tastes in music, can you not just appreciate that and realise you are obviously in the minority? They are not 'bad' djs, you just don't like their music.
Maybe you'd be more suited to somewhere like Hed Kandi @ El Divino where the music is less 'challenging'?

Sil, I think what's happened here is that you interpreted his initial comments quite differently than they were intended, and thus we have this ongoing cycle of responses. Take a second and go back to read his initial post (edit: what I mean is, his initial post wasn't meant to be malicious)silvia said:
Remember language works two ways, and not only me and my difficult to follow english would interprete your words in different way that you pretend. Jos cos I have my own interpretation of your words doesn't mean I can't follow.
This is not a forum exclusive for english spoken people (and actually surprise! IBiza it's not english spoken) so maybe it would be a good idea to be a bit more respectfull and patient with international members

A friend of mine once said....You have to be 100% behind someone, before you can stab them in the back.....
Only Joking!!
I wonder how many people have slated him on here and haven't even checked out the mix that was posted

It's no big deal... I misinterpret the Brits' posts all the time and we (theoretically) speak the same language!
