Super busy indeed. All the doom and gloom posts from the fallen angel are just because he's not coming to Ibiza this year, that's all. Oh, and well deserved retirement if true.

Im the only one here , who likes Croissant Show ? Nice place for me. Opposite Petite Vermut , too. After that , its time to go to a club ... moment , something happned ? Ok , October

Retirement ? Last time I was there , he looked not like he is sick of his work. Maybe a little less work ?

Anyone know the score with Bora Bora in the evening at the moment ? Can you just get some drinks ? All their social media pictures seem to be very ‘bottle’ orientated

* can confirm the ‘restaurant’ bit as you walk in is fine for drinks etc. ‘Bottle service only’ for the area in front of the DJ box. Music as loud as ever*

Sorry to ruin ur hope it won't happen october, a miracle if it happens next year even i had little hope around may to have some ibz holidays oct 2weeks but with Party OFF it will be a NO GO!

I forgot it was Andre, memory is not accurate as in my 20's ... i heard in 2017 it was a spot where people of ibz nightlife hang , so a place for after parties list following the netherland vet i still owe a Croissant show breakfast, it wont be the same with andre and of course Francisco the hippy raver...

I had time to see lot of ibz feeds (so it rain hard this mornings, some contact in Satori"s booth along cova santa that sunday ) ,including french mates, some posh places i suspect a former roomate to turn into escort girl (as how can u afford to eat at lio, cbbc blue marlin & other places i ve forgot name unless its on the house of suggardaddy), that confirm No regrets not going to ibz, nothing that gave me the goosebumps to jump in a plane (priority is not having fun but passing my 7 months trial job that end at the end of the year, a few big raves here are enough to cut a loose
The rich girl i met ibz 18 that used to stay at Hard rock Hotel from may to oct, left the island after 3 months, i guess she had enough even she didnt party a lot ibz the normal way1-2 parties a week....

Summer is over here (even i heard on national tv they want to extend until end october), minds is not really focusing on 2021 hollidays, we ll see it may 2022 (IMS Dalt Vila? Groove odyssey ibz?) with a very little hope for some ibiza opening parties (at least they could let outdoors events happens to people vaccinated)

Still curious about how it will be in september (sept 14th Dformation from beatfreak records having a session live at Amare hotel) , last year season was over in september.

I have not post for a while, but just want to let you know that I still read posts almost dayly and, for the f***ING most, I f***ING miss Ibiza.

Today, I feel sad cause I wonder if the Ibiza we experienced in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as died forever. If so, then at least we had the chance to experience true paradise before it disapeared like a mirage.

Miss Stivi, James and, even, McRacking and Tourist. Big LOVE for everybody on this forum, cause I know how much you guys love and care bout the white island.

Hope to be back in Ibiza in 2022, but last year I tought impossible that life would not be back to normal in 2021, so I'm hopeless bout 2022, 2023, 2024 and so on...

Clubbing till 7 AM, no mask, no capacity restriction is the only IBIZA we should accept and defend, if not it's simply NOT Ibiza (f*** the VIP table service with no dancing).

I've said it before, but currently ibiza town and the port feels like in the olden days (20 years ago or more). one of the very few nice 'consequences' of the pandemic.
Fine by me, we're staying 3 weeks in Ibiza town after San Antonio and Formentera...

I do wonder if the 1am closing time has some negative impact - walking round San An at 1am and witnessing the mass exodus and large groups stood around etc probably can’t help things

I’ll do a more through review / summary of the last few weeks soon. Overall brilliant time, amazing food this year, discovered lots of new places (even after coming 15 years) and came back the most rested I’ve been in years.

However, linked to the points above I do worry about the future, and how the island does get back to some more clubbing normality - if indeed it wants to.

We all know Ibiza & Formentera are beautiful places. They both have some stunning areas, some of my favourite spots in the world. But what seals it for many of us over the Amalfi Coast, Mykonos, St Trop is the music, the nightlife, the mix of people, odd balls and dancing with people from 18 to 69 in a nightclub. That’s what you don’t get anywhere else, and why we love it.

The ability to spend a day up north, relax and snorkel all afternoon, have a long late lunch, but then drive back to your apartment and Villa and get ready for Pacha/DC10. If we can’t eventually bring that back, then it’s USP isn’t there. Of course we’ll all still have Ibiza on the list of places to go to, but will we go 2 or 3 times a year like we used to? Will it be a once every 2-3 years destination?

Unless they find a way to get things open where you don’t have to spend €1,000 on a table to sit down and listen to music, then I can’t see how it remains the centre of the summer dance music industry.

One of the biggest takeaways for me this year was that “everybody looks the same”! That’s something I’ve never said in Ibiza. I want to talk to Brad the builder from Glasgow and Donatala from Milan - all in the space of 5 metres on the DC10 Terrace!

What worries me, is that Covid is always going to be with us in some form. The sad reality is that places like Ibiza will always get higher levels every season as people come together from all over the world. In the same way we all get colds/sore throats every September/ October on Ibiza. I mean Ibiza is the common cold super spreader every autumn right?

A few people getting Covid in Fabric London over the weekend in a city with a 9-10 million population isn’t an issue, it doesn’t register. How moving forward are holiday locations going to deal with an outbreak when the overall population is quite small? I hope what I’m saying makes sense.

Maybe 2022 will be back to normal for outside clubs? Cova, Destino and Ushuaia back to normal? Maybe that’s the route back over the next few years I hope.

And what I hope more than anything is everything I’ve said above is total rubbish and we laugh at it next season when we are in Amnesia with 5,000 people until 7am!

On a radio observation; I can thoroughly recommend Playasol Radio 92.4FM (and online) for anyone looking for a great mix of proper, quality holiday vibes, Balearica, AOR disco, 80s, yacht rock etc. It was absolutely perfect for us while driving around the island in our convertible SUV* (*Fiat Panda with the windows down)

Got it on right now on the tv! Good find, thanks

Using it to drown out the digger outside

An overcast morning in SE alas

Spot on.

I can’t see how they can ‘kill’ nightlife but overall tourism is a concern. Walking last night from Itaca to Sunset strip and everywhere was busy, rammed. Cafe del Mar, mambo, the new Kanya etc and golden Buddha where we ended up. And it was all very ‘ pleasant ‘ , nice evening. Small groups of friends, quite a lot of families etc. Very little police around to which just have been noticed by the authorities. As I mentioned the West End is dead - admittedly not been up there for 4 years but I reckon 5-8 bars open max, and plenty up for rent / sale.

We could see a move to more upper class tourism perhaps but was already happening right ?
