impressions & observations from ibiza 2021

Beach bar at port Des torrent just now was rocking. Very surprised.

just come back from a mambo meal and drinks (4 families) Tables were full but empty on the promenade. So I thought for august was a very quiet night.
 
Taxi situation seems to be improving a little, with less wait for taxis and more with green lights in the street.

Also found the new taxi rank in Ibiza Town - by the Burger King!

The Figueretas taxi rank has also moved to around the corner. Both moves seem to work better.

No way!!! I didn’t realise him on gogglebox was his son:lol: (didn’t even realise it was him playing at Mambo when i watched it the other day tbf) but it was hard viewing🤣

Come on now he is the spitting image, no need for a DNA test there :)

As it's a weird season I'll let them off, but in a normal year I'd be more brutal with my comments
 
Just got back this friday after a week in Ibiza with bf (White apts in figueretas) . Flew 13th STO-AMS-IBZ in a full plane. Smooth flight except for 3 superloud dutch Girls in The ros behind.

Arrival was Smooth, just scanned The SPth fast control and collected bag (total process 3 minutes).

Some restaurants visited were Calma, nassau plus a few in old town, es Passadis and can den parra. Various bars aswell like bora Bora, dome, tira palla..

All in all super crowded in ibz town, vibe very Nice. I would not however go again given how early everything closes right now, super stressy after beach if you want to cram everything in. But if situation improves, for sure...

Went there Thursday - 40 min queue for an ice cream 😱

But agree - good lad. Does a lot for the local area. Forever in debt to him for how he helped save Brighton and hove Albion

Nice and well written article. I’m sure this will be an unpopular post but this just isn’t what I want from Ibiza. Nor is the risk of contracting Covid and isolating on the island. Hoping for better times next year. We are all going to have to get used to the isolating risk if we want to travel the globe from here on in as vaccination does equal hope non contraction in the same way efficacy levels were promoted. I hope all those that get to go really enjoy it and stay safe.

i dont know if it s the end of the holiday but from a video sent from a mate in Tantra bar around 11pm, it was quiet empty (1/3 of seated places), while i remember early aug 2020 ,all tables inside were full for all seated chairs.

Season may extend until oct but sept may look like oct with far FAR less people 🤔 with tourists leaving the island...
