Ibiza, where is your essence?

affordable living has always been one of THE core topics of every left/social party in the world. it's a shame really that ibizas goverment has done absolutely nothing about this since they came into power. not even one measure. too busy measuring noise levels of open air bars. But I'm sure mcrackin will tell me how wrong I am again ;)

personally I think up until about 2012 it wasn't I such an issue
 
There is cheap yearly rental if you are willing to share a washing line with a family of ten, it might not have views of es vedra but you can get a beer for €1 close by.....:)

true. 2012 was my first season working on the island and what an amazing apartment I had for just 550 EUROS!! quiet, 50 sm, with balcony and shared pool.
it must be triple to quadruple that amount by now :/
