agreed, the ecotax isn't a problem at all in my books. it should be done and shared differently, but the tax as such is fine.

the drastic change in the accommodation offer (hotels going upscale and thus far more expensive, plus lots of hotels going adults only), that is the main problem in my opinion.

Yep, I've mentioned this before somewhere but when we return this summer, there will be a number of long term Ibiza visitors and friends from the UK and Spain who will not be there. The prices increases have driven them elsewhere.
