as it‘s been mentioned here a few times as a potential / wishful venue for certain events, I just heard km5 is up for sale...
The (infamous) owner has been revealed...

... expect to see KM5 in the news often from now on for all the wrong reasons!
See what I mean?!

Destino and Lio land in Mykonos...

it seems as if a few greedy businessmen of the pacha group noticed that you can also make money in mykonos, pacha's european expansion, after all, the concept is right, burrlesque, circus shows and world-famous dj can then entertain the noble vip ladies and gentlemen.

in fairness, if I was pacha group I'd do the same right now.

destino is a hotel, lío is a restaurant. both concepts have a much better chance to operate with some normality this summer compared to pacha as a nightclub.

besides, their expansion plans have been known for a while. expect more in the future.

At the end of the day we mustn’t forget it’s a business so any company will size opportunities to expand.
As per usual the Periódico lot are having a field day with their comments over the matter 🤣

Mykonos is one of the very few other sunshine destinations in Europe now were they will get away with being able to charge the crazy prices they do in Ibiza

No doubt some of the locals are waiting for this with bated breath 😉 but here’s something to look forward to.

We managed to get to Portugal last summer.

Straight down the party strip the first night and I couldn’t believe how ridiculously cheap the drinks were 🤷‍♂️ actually thought they’d made a mistake or something.

Noticed there was a Pacha affiliated bar in the middle of the strip. True to form the drinks prices were very expensive.

There are some things I won’t miss about Ibiza, if it does go down the pan on the back of all this Covid scenario.

I hope it doesn’t like, but the shifting sands of the world at the moment are taking their toll on everything.

Surely Mykonos is better than a Pacha at London’s Victoria train station? That was by far the least Pacha-esq venue they could have possibly chosen. In the main though Pacha create great clubs. I loved the one that was briefly in Dubai (ludicrously expensive) but very Pacha decor.

Pacha London was a franchise owned by Billy Reilly. It was a Pacha pretty much by name only

Remember the one in Gran Canaria. Nothing to do with the Ibz Pacha.

Surely it was still a Pacha, franchise or not? As the Pacha owners were happy for their brand to be next to a coach station and devalue it in that way.

We went to Pacha at Sharm El Sheikh in 2012, dont know if we were just glad to get out the resort but as far as Egyptian clubs go we thought it was a good night (good of been the dodgy vodka playing tricks my mind though)

Before I'd even visited Ibiza, we went on hol to GC. Recall an encounter with an extremely aggressive PR who took us turning down FMIF tickets very badly

playa de ingles and puerto rico are notorious for time share people invading your personal space too, nothing worse when your half cut
