they were called SRVD. I just did a search and discovered that it's another moniker for Matt Radioslave (I raised an eyebrow !!! normally rate him very highly) I vaguely remember hearing track 3 although it could have been anything tbh https://clone.nl/item52245.html

it just seemed completely out of place + almost upstaging the bride by banging it out that early. we hid in the garden.

Dixon and Radioslave go way back so wondering if that's why they got the gig?

yeah SRVD is radioslave and patrick mason - it's their live techno project. they were adamant about it being a more straight forward techno thing than what matt normally would play
 
ok, as for Pacha, I didn't get the impression it really needed a refurb. the 'class divide' didn't seem too obvious/offensive when it was busy and dark around 2am. I think they've got the foundations for a longrunning party there. people from all over the world - Spanish, German, Yanks, Asian all getting involved. a few casualties but never out of hand. How they promote it is another matter. I think professional party heads and especially the diehard dixon crew will always sniff out where the parties are at and don't really need social media gimmick 'reminders', but I guess the night can't rely on them week in week out.

I looked at staying there but the pool and roof area look pretty sorry these days. The bar area sounds like it's empty most nights too.

Exactly this is what I thought.. but is it only Dixon's night that's dark? I didn't go walking around staying near the end of the stairs and only used the bars as you come in..
Dark as in lighting not the music..

last year they overdid it with the white and now they went back to really dark. definitely pretty dark for dixon, solomun as well. can't say for the rest of the parties, but music on also looked pretty dark.
