not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere already, but cirque du soleil filing for bankrupcy.

keep in mind its owner is a partner in heart ibiza so let's hope heart won't be affected.
I think Guy la Liberte could save Cirque du Soleil with a little of his spare money.....

Big news here in the province of Québec, but not a big surprise has all of their shows around the world have been canceled for the last 3 months and on and on and on...

For Heart Ibiza, I would not be too worry, because Guy Laliberté is no longer a owner of Cirque du Soleil and part of the reason why the're bankrupt is because they just paid him (in January) is last 100 millions payment...

Typically for stuff like this it's pro forma asset protection to allow debt reconsolidation, but they're ~1B in debt right now. They did get some backing from investors, so i'm sure they won't go away, but who knows how long that will last without shows. If there's a prolonged audience absence I can't see how they'll survive.

Once able to, they should tour the Beatles Love. Don’t think it went further than Vegas, and would rake in hundreds of millions. Always thought it strange they didn’t tour that format.
