i also have nice memories of km5, back in the days when it first opened wifey and i hung out with the guys who owned km5, i still remember that i was helping putting that whale ? bar on it’s place, that was hard work, later that season and for about 2-3 years on my wife used to dj alongside Boris, i think it was about 93 or 94.

That is a real shame - my only experience of KM5 was as an afters venue for Cocoon a few times over the last few years but I loved it every time I had been! RIP!

KM5 was dead all time ive been since the change (busy in 99) except for afterparties such Cocoon
so it was obvious they couldn't survive
i bought a km5 compilation early 00 mixed by sin plomo (pink cover) , didnt like it too much tbh

Same. Great venue for after-parties. Although seemed a bit of a rip-off for dinner & drinks normally.

Too far for people without a car otherwise not so far, cala beniras from ibz town is very Far
Pricey place, i only had cocktail 14€ (same range of price as Blue Marlin ibz but quiet fair in comparison to big clubs price 19€ regulard hard drink 9€ water 12€ coke ) and coke there but same range of price as Mambo cafe and 'im more into km5 food than industrial Mambo cafe food ?
Following the add o Jockey club, booking is mandatory for lunch, so we can expect to book in order to have our seats in any restaurant ?
Not convenient when you don't have spanish simcard ?

KM5 was simply way past its prime. it was a great place in the late nineties and early noughties. in the last few years when it was open it was never busy except the few one-off parties (which, indeed, were mostly very good).
let's see what happens with it now - especially since the new owners are already in deep sh*t with it.
