I was at that night, it was the closing party i think and there was a huge thunderstorm. Parts of the club flooded and the power went out for a couple of hours leaving everyone standing in the dark in shin deep puddles

Goodness me! I don’t recall him playing manu toilets, he was very main stage back then and at the peak of his powers. Toilet djing and the set up at manu certainly wasn’t what it is at hi now!

John Kelly was the main resident and dressed as a pirate for good ship manumission when I was there?

I'm going 9th Sept when Villalobos is scheduled to play (presume 4am onwards) and am really hoping for a decent crowd.

$6,000 if I remember right, not sure if he was over already, luckily the club owner was a big contributer in making it happen, had Moodymann as well for same amount, great times, the main lads claim to fame though was getting Omar S to play in a little bar in Middlesbrough free entry, he was paid a fee though obviously

Having booked several higher profile DJs and knowing quite a few booking agents, I would have guessed a third of that at most.

They do. Nothing high profile, though maybe Doorly occasionally still plays? I've seen a weekly event program somewhere. I'll try to find it for you
