*** ibiza gossip 2018 ***

a couple of months ago there was news that ibiza sonica is off the air in ibiza radio. any news on the situation? anybody know whether they are back on FM? I hear very few live programmes these days, even less than usual in the winter months. only music and often unmixed.

not currently but I think they will be back for the season.
 
Extremely late to the party, but I am just now realizing that Matinee was cancelled for 2017 (last year)! Now there is nowhere to go for my topless milk-bath fixation... :(

Any hope of a return someday?

there will be more events (not weekly), but not sure if solid grooves is part of plans.

No way , Matinée played cheesy music after droping the former matinée Djs that play good House Tech house Music at space when it was a real after party .They had their golden age end 90's then turn into the wrong side of commercial music. (got all their cds until 2009, after 2004 it's really shit)

Mate was shocked as not a gay :lol:, if his wife heard about this story she will kill him :lol:
if u want to experience the gay side go to calle de virgen & ask to bars for the events, i remember the turkish gay i gave a ride aug 17 was in ibz for 2 days & he had a party in a club i've never heard.(some hidden mysterious places ? i'm not very willing to know :D)

I went to a matinee party in 2016 and the tunes were awesome. Very tech/house not pop at all.

ps: I also liked matinée until about 2010 and was never bothered about it sounding slightly commercial at times. after 2010 I can't speak for since I stopped going. but yeah, definitely part of my 'good old days'.
 
Matinée Djs i followed were not on the lineup on the ones i went amnesia 12 , 13 (ive recognized some names i hated from cds i had)
Their sound turn into Trance/progressive stuff...
They had their glory aera at space (matinée, la leche...) such as Subliminal parties at Pacha....
