Hotel discussion thread

So we did the usual this trip and split it into one more chilled a bit more expensive place further from the action and then another nearer the clubs.

Tried Can Salia for the first 6 days. It's been renovated not too long ago as I couldn't remember that being there before when we've been to Can Pujol restaurant which is next door.

We really enjoyed our stay. Its at the end of San An Bay, room and living area are good size and has all the modern amenities you'd expect like microwave, kettle and new hobs. The ground pool is ok, but doesn't look like it's had much of a touch up from the last hotel, however their big USP is their roof pool and terrace which is quite swanky and children free for the most part. The sunsets there were stunning.
Had food there twice and it was good quality.

Great location for beaches that side of island, walking distance to Port Des Torrent, plus very short bus rides to Cala Basa, Cala Comte and Cala Tarida.

Ended the holiday in Cenit in Figueretas which i'm sure many people know. Was our first time and we liked it. We didnt realise it had such a nice pool terrace too, which is open to all, so even if we don't stay there again we will definitely be making use of the pool when we are in the area. Room size was good, only problem is they are working on a new building next door so we did have drilling and general noise when the workers were there, so it might be worth checking if this is still happening when booking in the future.
Good to have a review of a self catering room with kitchen as they seem rare now and with prices as they are even just making Coffee and Lunch in the room helps keep costs down

I heard there´s gonna be a new Jabeque hotel in the playa de Figueretes area, next to other ones. Can´t wait to see how it looks (imo. it´ll be great to have more options near the town )

I like the idea of splitting a trip between a chill spot and somewhere closer to the action—it’s a good way to mix things up. Reminds me of this time I stayed at this cool boutique hotel Sydney. It was right in the CBD, super handy for getting around, and had this awesome mix of old-school charm and modern vibes. Staying in a place like that really makes the trip feel more special.

Somebody heard anything that Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will be the last Season in 2025, it is also not available in october 2025 for bookings.
We was last weekend in Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife Hotel and asked there, cause we couldn't do reservations for oct 25 so we was told it will be probably the last season and will change into another Palladium Hotel but no more informations.

Yes l believe it’s lease / contract is up for HRH ibiza. Usushia is also changing to the Unexpected Hotel as per sister property building in Dubai

Don't really get the strategy with the Hard Rock brand, the one in Amsterdam has also been rebranded but they have plans to build a massive multi billion one in Vegas on the site of the Mirage Hotel complete with the iconic guitar so it's all a bit muddled where the brand is heading

Yeah it’s a dated brand. It’s still loved in the US/ Caribbean areas but never really worked in Europe. The restaurants were their leaders and the hotel a sluggish second. Never suited the ethos of Ibiza, could say that with a lot of things l guess these days 😉

If anyone is passing hotel Palladium Hotel Palmyra near linkers can you take a few photos, staying again in April and says there renovating.

If I am correct, Grupotel & Spa in SE does have a Garage
Montemar could be tight, but I think still possible
