Hotel discussion thread

Think thats the one mate yeah. Walked past it last year on way to cala gracio and we both said it looks lush but bet its expensive, didn't think it would be that extreme !
Yeah think we payed like 6k for the week 2 of us in September 🫣. Like I say it was a one off and we did enjoy it. Slight change to our regular camping holidays 😂

Any more info on this? Few people wondering and their enquiries to the hotel are going unanswered 🤷‍♂️

One eye on next year already, I am trying to figure out the best way to go with me and the wife plus 3 x 17yr olds and an 11yr old. Any ideas? We ideally want to be around the bay so we can walk to places.

"The Site hotel". Is that a correct translation??

Just managed to save €250 (about 30%) off our hotel week after next just by rebooking. Seems to be some deals still to be had
Said earlier in the year that prices, even for September, were eye-watering and if anyone would risk not getting a room at all (unlikely) then wait until the empty rooms aren't sold. Had a look last month and booked a few days in October (in addition to pre-booked September), and even then the majority of hotels around Figuretas and the city were way too high for the season. Happily Royal Plaza came to the rescue as usual!

Yamm Sunset (don’t think it’s open yet but in case anyone has any insight?)

€1000 per night. I'd hope that would be all inclusive...

I'm far from the target audience for this...but you have to question are you really having a 4 or 5 times better time staying there than a 200-250 euro a night option?

Garbi seems to be about £300ish a night next month so a third of the price and it's hardly roughing it there.

Exactly, and compared to price staying at say pikes. (Although they don't have capacity of hrh)

Honestly l would doubt its from €1000 per night, unless its all suites. I work in the hotel trade, and even Dubai hotels would start from €300/400 per night+ depending on the time of year of course .. I guess we will have to see as the site arrives ;)

clickbait. my comment on this post was
i imagine the €1000 per night refers to the penthouse suite: 165m2, two bedroom, two bathroom, 2 jacuzzis, hammam, full bar, dining for 8, vip private check in etc. and not one of the ordinary rooms at the bottom end of the scale.
there is a website with the room details on but as yet no availability or prices.

Those damn clicky fb posts 🤦‍♂️

But yeah, good point.

On the Palladium Hotel Group website, you could even book for next year. I just looked out of curiosity, and a double room would have cost just under 900 euros for two people.
But now they have removed the hotel from the website again.

Prices already being slashed for October hotels. Wouldn’t be surprised if the same happens for September too.
