Good choice Sheff..I have many happy memories of Sol Bahia....hope you have a wonderful time...
And it's a great location for sticking right to the coast after you go to Kanya and strolling right round to Cafe Del Mar,Mambo and Bar Savannah etc

I met a beautiful lady in Savannah..one year I was in Eivissa....sometimes it was more relaxed than Cafe Del Mar and Mambo

Has anyone any experience of the aparthotel duquesa playa in santa Eulalia? The reviews look good but I’ve never stayed in the area

Not stayed there but you're in a very good location. Couple of mins walk to the main promenade, ferry port and beach. Project Social next door is a nice bar too.

Sold!

Will be visiting August 16-19 solo but not sure where to stay. Have only stayed on the bossa side previously. Budget not really an issue. Was looking at The Standard or OKU (san an side), but not strict about it. Has anyone stayed there solo or have any recommendations on hotels that would be a good place to stay? Will I meet more people on the san antonio side? To party with etc?

On one hand looks amazing, but on the other is any Ibiza resort safe from the 5* €€€€€€ treatment??

Had a google and think the Ole Galeon up the hill is having a refurb? Stayed there 5 years ago and it was very tired, but the balcony views are incredible there

Booked one day earlier flight and booked Hotel Vedra before original booking from tomorrow in Gran Sol.

Clean, friendly and great location. In and out in 20 mins.

Would consider again. No pool but sea or Tropical pool would solve that

We stayed at a hotel called Blau Park, in San Antonio, last weekend.

I have to say that we were very impressed with the place. Recently refurbished and looking amazing inside.

I like that little area in general, we’ve stayed around there a few times before.

I must have walked past this Blau Park many times on previous holidays, before it was refurbished, and I can’t seem to recall what it was like 🤷‍♂️ or if it was actually called Blau Park?

Anyway, they’ve made a great job of it. Very spacious rooms and a nice balcony area overlooking the sea. The pool area is spacious too. They even have a rooftop pool which is very good.

The staff were very friendly and went about their work with a good attitude 😃 Hotel guests seemed to be from all over, no dominant group.

If you want to see some genuine videos of the place, just type the hotel name into the search bar on TikTok. Some people have made some great videos from the place.

There is only one thing I could criticise this hotel for, and I’m being very picky here, but the balcony railing didn’t seem up to the job in my eyes. Felt a bit flimsy 😐 looked like there was just some m12 bolts holding it in place. Certainly made me think twice about doing anything too strenuous near it.

Anyway we would definitely stay here again, such a good hotel 🤩

Sorry Brandon, late reply here.

Me and my other half stayed at Sol Bahia for 10 nights in 2018. I think it had recently been refurbished, it was looking amazing inside. We had a room overlooking the pool and the sea. Was top notch.

Bartolo is an absolute gent as well by the way 👍 and his family. As I’m sure you already know.

He used to pour us some very generously measured rum and cokes on our way out every night 😄

We stayed at Sol Bahia a couple of years ago, it’s our favourite hotel so far. We found it to be very friendly and the staff were amazing. Nice and clean and fresh, excellent views as well from the pool area.

We did witness a group of lads get kicked out the morning after their first night as one of them decided to run around the hotel doing the “helicopter” 😂

There is a time and place for that sort of malarkey 🤦‍♂️

There were quite a few families there during our visit. I certainly wouldn’t be happy if I saw something like that happening.

I’ve always wondered what happens to people if they get kicked out of a hotel in Ibiza? Is it easy to find somewhere else at such short notice? Are the hotel staff likely to turn people away if they know they’ve been kicked out of another hotel?

His pals weren't happy, they probably look back and laugh now but it was £150ish per night and they were young 20’s so they probably had saved hard for that holiday.

I’d imagine you end up in a cheap hotel with no aircon or pool on helicopter man’s credit card.

100% we'll be reading about it in a few years on here.

Are hotels running at reduced capacity or something (staffing levels?), and that why prices are x2 what I used to expect in Sept.

Like £3.5k -7k for 2 weeks, not even all inclusive a lot of them.

Least it made me giggle 😃

(For those prices I'd want a personal assistant for the entire week lol)
