Nile Rodgers is one of the all time greats. As a songwriter, he's on a par with anyone and everyone from the past 50 years.

Except maybe Ed Sheeran, obv

seems like a genuinely nice bloke too, which is also not something you come across that often in the music business. i saw a video of him busking in London a few months back, just cos he felt like it.

He's just a bit too calculating for my liking. That bloody Irish girl song he sings, it's just so obvious that he's thought about the 'market' for it when he wrote it.

Another posh boy with a guitar, which is pretty much all you get these days.

Heard this today and you're spot on. Will be huge in Ireland, with plastic Paddies like myself (but not actually myself) and possibly most significantly with those Americans who'll buy anything Oirish.

I'm fairly sure I heard an interview where he said they record label panned it until he explained the cynical marketing strategy

He played it last night in dublin last song.and brought out the girl he wrote it about and her band..The arena went nuts im hearing all day on the radio...

Pie and mash stands are great, the welsh ogie stall, hog roasts, steak houses, sausage fest, just whatever takes yer fancy. The park is a great place for food stalls and deep in the market areas theres little delights everywhere. I tend to stay away from the standard burger places etc round the main stages. Its all about just wandering and finding magic in unknown places really. You just don't know what surprise could be round each corner at Glastonbury.

Agree on the Park having great foodstalls, some nice ones on the little road towards the Healing Fields as well.

Roll on June!!

looks great, but Masters at Work in the Downlow is gonna be obscenely busy, have to get there when it opens to get in.

I'm sure they'll have some big hitters scheduled @ Glade or The Beat Hotel at the same time to ease the flow!
