Getting to/from Ibiza latest info

Think most pre-departure tests are being removed for fully vaccinated people for EU countries. Portugal is removing theirs next week.

For fully vaccinated people, how long after the first two negative tests after testing positive is the NHS Covid Passport 'unlocked' for use for travel?
Total speculation here, but i'm pretty sure we're going to see all entry restrictions removed for vaxxed & boosted travelers in Europe by summer.

Prestwick. Could still go from Glasgow, which isn't that much further TBH, but going from Prestwick was very convenient. Flights were always packed too, so seems a strange decision.
Just checked and looks like all flights have been pulled down to IBZ, probably just cheaper to consolidate to GLA until Covid is over. PIK airport still lists IBZ as Wed/Sun flights too, might just be temp.

It’s more for half term as my husband recently tested positive so wants to know he can travel if negative for a few days and fully vaccinated.

Oof, that sucks. No clue on how long it'll take to unlock. Might have to search up some data points online.

Looks to me like flights are still going from prestwick to other parts of Spain. Ryanair don't go Glasgow to Ibiza either, but I think Easyjet do. Maybe they're not expecting a big bounce back this year.

Ryanair has some cheap flights from Edinburgh which were much cheaper than from Glasgow for the dates I was searching for in May / June for mates.

Ryanair prices out of Dublin are really hefty this year. Currently £325 pp in early July and have been hovering around that price since they launched. I was considering a trip down if it made sense but ended up sticking with EasyJet again from Belfast. Their prices are definitely more expensive than usual (currently shot up to £420 pp which is madness) and Jet2 are always pretty heavy anyway. Late summer prices with EasyJet are decent though.

At least you guys have the remote chance of a direct flight.

I can't even get to Ibiza on 2 flights. I have to take 3 different flights. On my upcoming trip in April, I'll be flying SAS to Oslo, then Flyr to Barcelona, and finally Vueling to get to Ibiza. On the return it's just Vueling (twice) and Norwegian on the final leg. None of the flights are connected, which means I'm in trouble if any of the flights are delayed so that I miss the next flight.

I'm also putting in enough time in Barcelona for tests and other special treatment. 🧐

You'd need to be going for 3 weeks with all that hassle
