It's really a shame because the Balearics were in an excellent situtation til mid June with low incidence but sadly screwed it up from there. I think in order to avoid levels like in Valencia or Catalonia they soon have to deescalate things on the islands and not speed them up by opening indoor clubs.
 
Cases are rising but not that bad at all and hospital is low, yesterday 187 cases

Let's wait until the news officially comes out

With people travelling it's envitable there will be more cases....

Not sure - he represents the travel industry. You can see the government basically moving goal posts and making more red 🙄
 
Imagine going from green to possibly red in 2 weeks though? You’d imagine even people who were happy to go when it was amber will have massive doubts in case they put it to red at short notice and there is a massive rush to get home. What an absolute shambles

Not saying its rubbish but if the figures are actually looked into they are not as bad as the graph he has presented

Figures far worse in the uk

The potential for red is a worry. We fly to Majorca on Friday, if the missus' PCR test comes back ok, but I think if it goes red, that's out the window
 
Returning to UK from Amber is 10 days quarantine at home if not fully jabbed, right? (Mrs B only has one so far)
 
I am surprised Europe is still letting Brits in without quarantine given the rate of escalation of cases here. There's either going to have to be a massive hike in case rate tolerance on both sides of the Channel or this'll be a very short Summer !
 
The problem is that if they are even considering moving it to red, they could do it at very little notice which causes a mad scramble to get home and you’ve paid for flights and a holiday you don’t properly get

Or 5 days if you pay for test to release. Straight to red isn't good though, personally, I'd just stay there until it changed back to Amber.

Urgh, going to have to move back my 2 August trips!
