Not frivolous at all!It sounds a bit frivolous, but having a holiday or festival booked in the diary to look forward to is the thing that keeps me going at work

This just has to be a lateral flow test, as a far I can see?
Sorry for the delay. They email the certificates over. I got them before our flight, which was a little stressful. Was this run by Collinson? How did they send the results - was it via an APP or just email?
Asking as a load of people are apparently struggling to access results on the app.
How much did you pay for the the antigen test on way back?Sorry for the delay. They email the certificates over. I got them before our flight, which was a little stressful.
The antigen test we had to get back was just on a word document had to show it to Ryan air in Ibiza and UK border control. No probs and straight through.
all a bit of a ball ache but so so so so worth it to be back. Amazing vibe about. Chilled but lots of fun too.
Huge surge in cases in NL with Rutte closing nightclubs > so this thing simply ain't gonna go away. https://www.dutchnews.nl/news/2021/07/new-coronavirus-cases-top-10000-highest-figure-since-december/
Since June 2 in the UK, cases have increased 5x, hospitalisations 4.5x. Think the re-opening will be very short lived if deaths starts to increase again - thus knocking out any hopes of Ibiza in late summer for me.
I'm not doubting what you say, but the problem is if there are more cases then the polititians will FEEL they have to do something, even if the case numbers is due to testing to get people into events.Cases is a relative term. It's positive tests, mostly due to testing for entry (around 1 million people got tested to enter events and nightclubs).
Hospitalizations are still really low here, let alone Icu or death toll.
Now we wait your restaurants reviewAll smooth for our trip on Saturday. EasyJet were strict on the 48 hour thing and checked dates and times on the certificate. They were also very strict - no excuses - about masks at all times on the plane. Even making someone who had some sort of exemption lanyard around their neck. There were still idiots who quickly put them on then took them off as soon as the stewardess walked past and they found their own behaviour hilarious. Grown men. Cringeworthy to see these bell ends in the wild.
A few flights arrived at once so there were quite a lot of people in arrivals to go through QR scanning which was briefly unsettling. Biggest crowd I’ve been in for 18 months, but it moved swiftly enough considering. All the staff are on it now. My wife was picked at random for PCR result cert check. All good.
We had a car thankfully as the taxi queue is insane so definitely add that on to your travel time if its your method of transfer.
Thanks to all the contributors and advice shared on here. It has been a huge help. After weeks and weeks of planning and preparing and trying to get this trip nailed down safely and without financial disaster amidst major hurdles, it came down to our results dropping in the night before. Edge of the seat stuff.
Everyone we’ve seen has been sensible and compliant with what is necessary in restaurants etc. The island feels busy, it feels safe and above all, it feels good to be back.

Q; is she British and not yet had both jabs? I'm asking as having had both jabs I wouldn't expect to have to provide a PCR check on arrival in IbizaMy wife was picked at random for PCR result cert check. All good.

Likely. People are catching covid, refusing to quarantine and are going home, from what I've heard. Really hope it isn't though, I'm booked for 3rd August and then again 20th August and I won't be fully vaccinated until SeptemberRumours Balearics going back to Amber list for England But that doesn’t effect anything if you’re fully vaccinated (i don’t think?)
