Least gone now rather than day before next league so gives time to get manager in. Thing is new manager cannot bring any players in so stuck with that lot till January and the same applies to the players. They can't jump ship until January!
At least he didn't do what most do and hang around to be sacked just to get the compo. He has just thought bo11ocks to you lot and gone, with head held high in my books. He was brought in to do a job which was keep Hammers up and stabilise which he done, now needs a manager to take them to the next step. 9th in the league!!

all this shenanigans just shows how football is now orientated around the board room and if the managers don't fall into line they're not welcome.....with the exception of fergie and wenger (due to long standing careers at thier respective clubs and having the nouse to work togther with said members) everyone else is at the mercy of the money men.

I think Curbs would just be another Big Sam, the NUFC are an impatient bunch, and Curbs wouldnt last till the end of season (unless he pulls of a miracle and does well instantly)
