Football merry go round 09/10 season !

As a second striker he is actually ver effective, holds the ball well, brings others into the game, and defenders struggle to handle his height at set pieces. He's a good buy for Spurs IMO.

i think if his name was Dieter Crouchino, Chelski would be straight in with a £70m bid!

Sorry but am I the only one who finds the fact you lot are putting your faith in the freak just a tad amusing???

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

2 words: Schev and Chenko :lol:

I'm as embarassed as the next man but the day where a Chel$ki follower enters a discussion on transfers, is the day we all need to be reminded of Andrei.

I've no idea what Harry's doing but I assume PC's agent is a bit of a character ;)

And he is actually good at what he does (and I don't mean dancing ;) )

you even signed Robert Fleck ffs!

Altogether now... Number 1 is Robert Fleck, Number 2 is Robert Fleck. Number 3 is Robert Fleck :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Although he was terrible we did love his awfulness.... and yes you're right we have made some bad signings.

I don't mean it in a bad way just that it made me laugh. Yes he is a freak sorry that's the way it is. Redknapp himself said that he's "unique" surely I don't have to read between the lines for anyone on that one.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I've never liked Peter Crouch and never will even if he put a chelsea shirt on and let me bang his missus I'd still hate him.

oh and for the record, I'm nothing if not consistant....

If Rooney and Owen aren't fit, we've got more chance of the midfielders scoring than the forwards...

Crouch??? FFS...

when did I say that??? Before the 2006 world cup, when our forwards in sum total (if memory serves) scored a whopping 0 goals.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

He was European player of the year just a year before we got him... who knew?

And don't you guys start... Chimbonda.... twice?? Bent?? Shall we go on?

ok Morbs, ill give your boys their due, at least you lot probably broke even when you take into consideration how many shirts got sold to pay for the guy. ;)

Ronaldo-Madrid
Ibrahimovic-Barcelona
Glen Johnson-Liverpool
Two rightbacks to spurs when they already have two of them
Owen-bender United
Downing-Villa
Adebayor-Citeh
Pennant-Espanyol or some such ****
crouch to spurs
and vassell to some Turkish team ( i forgot which team, and even if i knew i would be unable to spell it ) was pretty nuts, the welcome he got at the airport and stadium was full on mental, it was like they'd just signed messi, kaka and ronaldo in one

These are your joke transfers of the season

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

and you will be putting your faith in the cheat again no doubt??

p.s see Terry finally admitted (what I knew all along) he was both tempted and flattered by City's interest/offer and was considering his future but once he had assurances from the owner about where the club was going he decided to stay. Which explains the delay, he couldnt say what he was doing until he had spoken to Abramovic!!

Perhaps, JJ, but people are making a much bigger deal about it than it really is.

A few years ago, I was offered a job in Ukraine that would have doubled my salary, improved benefits, given me tons of responsibility, and might have let me in on the ground floor of a huge IPO. Of course I was flattered, and of course I thought about it for a while... I even had a conversation with one of my bosses about my current role at the time. But I was never actually close to leaving my job here in Moscow to move to some podunk town in Ukraine.

Thankfully, that didn't happen under the microscope of the media and sports fans, or else people would have been awaiting my public statement and questioning my loyalty to my employer :!:

The cheat and Le sulk ;)

Re Terry, you'de be daft not to at least listen to what they had to offer, and obviously a couple of years without european football at his age would be the deciding factor ;) 200k a week wasnt even enough ;)

but I think you're confusing the choices that face people in everyday work situations about career advancement and the game of football where the traditional audience still (probably naively) associate certain players with an emotional loyalty to their club, which is supposed to override anything else. Hence the cynicism when the likes of Gerrard and Terry prevaricate over committing their loyalty...

was it for £200k per week over 4/5 years? meaning you could put your feet up by the time you hit 33/34... i'd snap their hands off. ;)

No, I'm not... duly noted in my last sentence.
But at the end of the day, these players are just human beings. And young ones at that.

JJ yet to take the bait about me comparing Man City to a small city in Ukraine

by "people" I presume the gutter hacks that spend their time writing ****e for the backs of the redtops? There's no big deal to be made (no pun intended obviously for JT it would have been a massive deal had it gone through) City Identified JT as a player who would improve us as a team, an offer was made, it was considered and it was rejected. End of story in my eyes, we move on.

and I think comparing Manchester to the radiation riddled wasteland of the Ukraine is a bit wide of the mark...........Liverpool maybe, but not Manchester!!

There....bait duly taken!!!

Let's tell it how it is, not for all the tea I in china was JT going to leave his beloved club that worships him for some tin pot firm of expensive and now arrogant misfits the wrongside of Manch-golia.

The delay was merely playing up to sort a few extra coin for his salary (proving SGE's influence on his career ;) ) . He's well aware he's got enough (and can get enough) cash in his later years should he wax his 120k a week on chesty birds from Bromley, tho will probably be worth another 30k thanks to "Hughes-He?"
