Films....

Saw the one more doc, seen it all before tbf but the worst thing is Alex P, he pops up in it and looks close to death:?

Very cool/stylish .... excellent soundtrack too!

Ps rented One More recently Nitey. Was ok but an opportunity missed in the tunage :spank:

Battleships - yup that one with Rihanna in - viewing on saturday....review will follow if i have time 8)

Really enjoyed this film, alot more than i thought i would as well.

It was a well thought out film, no long boring bits and wasy to follow and for me being female and blonde thats always a help

Definately worth a watch but as always, not everyones cup of tea 8)

Lockout.

Sheesh! Who'd have thunk it? Mike from Neighbours rescuing the hostage President's daughter from a maximium security prison on the moon and it's not very good. Even though there's this brand new plot line where they don't get on at first but end up together.

The lead prisoner was a Scottish psychopath though, so it was good they avoided any tired stereotypes:lol:

Chisum from sky+ last night;

Very entertaining, John Wayne is the big man, other big men try and muscle in, gun battles and a battle of wits ensues, better than a lot of the parp served up these days :D

This thread needs more arty-farty and/or foreign cinema. ;) Watched 'City of Men' last night, some sort of sequel to 'City of God'. Was okay, but then I remember thinking 'City of God' was just okay rather than the classic some make out.

Actually, it's not a sequel, but linked to a TV series spawned by 'City of God'.

I think I ponced it up bit earlier in the thread - The Diving Bell and The Butterfly in particular.

If watched Lars Von Triers 'Melancholia' the other day. That's pretty arty farty - the opening sequences are8O

I watched Michael Haneke's 'Benny's Video' the other week. ;)

That was quite good and disturbing, much better than his 'Funny Games', which almost put me off trying to watch his other films. Still got 'Hidden' on my HDR to watch.

watched this last night... was ok, but a bit repetitive.

"opened clob op norf... it were fockin' amazin'... we were the first... atmosphere were bangin'... loadsa drogs... the night sasha played was fockin' great... the scene died... club burnt down..."

one more...

"opened clob op norf..."

amazing how many of these places 'burnt down' just when times were getting tough...
