Films....

The Lost boys would kick Twilights ass!

My sisters never stopped watching that as teenagers. Film for wannabe goths, innit? ;)

My fave vampire film is probably Herzog's remake of Nosferatu. I love the earthiness of that film and it's very haunting, managing to portray the loneliness of the count also.

For a vampire gore-fest, I rather enjoy 30 Days of Night.

Have you seen the Lost BOys? There is nothing GOTH about those sexy creatures!! Particularly the one with the long dark hair he is yummy then theres Kiefer and Michael and little Corey Haim I loved him back then :)

oooooooooooooo i remember what i was gona post the other day...

It's true, I believe. I stopped watching after 2, one of the most boring films I've sat through in a cinema. The first rule of horror movies is most don't justify being longer than 90 mins.

I was subjected to it many times. ;) I'm not generally a huge fan of horror films explicitly aimed at the teeny market.

 i think i might just have to view it, on dvd of course, when its down to about 3 quid in asda  just for curiosity sakes

I was going to say about adding it to my Lovefilm but I am bombing them - dont watch enough films to get the use out of it.

Is Corey Haim the one from Goonies?

No thats Corey Feldman but he's in it too.. they are just kids - the fit ones are the older brother Michael , Kiefer and the dark haired unnamed vampire. It's a great film though I've seen it hundreds of times and still watch it

If you want a good horror try " the descent" it's fantastic and pretty full on, it's about 6 girls that go pot holing in some unexplored caves, the first half is quite gentle then it goes off silly.

It's truly difficult to find good horror these days. Some of the Japanese flicks are pretty damn creepy which is why alot of them are being redone in the US. I still go with the classics. Exorcist, Amittyville Horror (original), Salem's Lot (original). Most of the horror these days relies on special effects and gore. Most of what made the old ones so creepy is the things you never saw. OH, "The Entity" is a good one too. Yeah, I'm a fan of horror movies.
