But when they show Karate Kid on cable next listen (unless you remember it) the song playing when Daniel is playing soccer in the sand at the beach and he meets Ali with an I...it has to be to dorkiest song of all time...
 
robin hood, the cartoon one where robin hood is a fox i think. that was ace! and i also loved alice in wonderland. then when i was bit older i used to love the second wizard of oz (return to oz) i used to get it out every time we went to the vid shop for about a year. also loved the lion the witch and the wardrobe. ah this takes me back a bit. im feeling all emotional. :D

Yess I think that everybody that liked the film used to repeat the phrase, I even remember that once in the spanish forum talking about movies, Silvia quoted it.
The boy it was very handsome I have never seen him again!!!!!

The second Wizard of Oz had this dark quality about it that I found unsettling/appealing as a child. Alice In Wonderland was just kick a$$ all around... feeling WAY nostalgic about now :oops: :D

Ha! I will have to listen to it when it comes on tonight.

Another pretty dorky song is the tournament song they play when Daniel is competing. South Park actually used it in one of their cartoons. "You're the Best...Around!!!"

Legend, haven't seen that movie in a long time!

yeah i loved films like that. i went to pizza hut for my 7th birthday then we put 'the witches' on at my house. but then had to turn it off coz the other kids started crying at the bit where they start taking there faces off! big babies! i'd already seen it about 3 times. loved it! god im remembering loads of films i loved now. they don't make em like that anymore i tell you! :lol:

I used to have Sleeping Beauty memorized...

When I was little (like 8 or 9) I was obsessed with the Rocky Horror Picture Show and I would act out the parts of Frank-n-Furter, Magenta, Columbia...etc. My mom was not pleased to say the least...
 
I was fascinated by Star Wars when it came to sci-fi pictures. Other than that my favorites were as follows:

The Longest Day
Lawrence of Arabia
Spartacus
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Fists of Fury (Bruce Lee)

I had watched all these movies by the tiem I was about 9 years old.

Dang, those are pretty advanced for a little dude :) Though I had Gone With The Wind (loved the big poofy dresses) memorized by about 6 years old
 
I didn't see Lawrence of Arabia until I was in university :oops: Amazing film.

I didn't actually watch Gone with the Wind until about 5 years ago. I wasn't too impressed. :roll:
 
I was a strange little kid...When I was 6-7 yrs old I was really into watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies...They were so elegant...My favorites (for anyone who was ever or is into these movies) were "Top Hat" and "Carefree." The dresses were so amazing, the sets, the elegant dancing...elegant elegant elegant!

OK, who watched "St. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band" with the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton when they were little <<raised hand>> I just loved it, even though it was sacrilege... ;) ;) :lol: :lol:

I am still a little dude :lol: :lol: . I know, but then again, I was quite beyond my years when I was a kid when it came to cerebral matters. But when it came to other things I was far, far behind everyone else :oops: , a complete dufus.

BTW, Giants with Rock Hudson, James Dean and Liz Taylor was also pretty cool.

Ok then that's acceptable I was 8 and 10 :lol:

Pretty in Pack soundtrack is THE best ever (well equal 1st with Dirty Dancing) ;)
