Let poor coffeetime alone... ;-)

To add a few words to the discussion:
Ok, maybe only 1/4 of Ibiza holiday-makers are clubbers, but maybe 80% or more inside the clubs are on drugs!! And if you can't get drugs on Ibiza any more, the clubs will have a serious problem. They won't be able to find as many people who pay 50 Euro and more to get inside at 2 am!! And you can't get drunk either, it's just too expensive!! I guess the owners of the clubs have enough power and money to make sure that the police overlooks the drug situation!

AND: in every holiday area where there are a lot of young people (I'm not talking about families or couples!) there is either a massive alcohol or drug use!! And what's better: yelling, violent alcohol drinkers or friendly Ibiza-clubbers?? ;-)

So, what's the situation this year? Is the police really that present? I will fly to Ibiza in a few days!!! (for the third time, and I'm sure I wouldn't have chosen Ibiza for the third time without clubbing!!!)

So, how is the law in Spain? Can you get arrested for consuming?? Or only if you possess drugs? And what's the limit you can carry with you for yourself?

of those 19 (btw, this number only includes the persons who went to the can misses hospital), 1 died yesterday early afternoon. later in the afternoon another 7 were attended in can misses after been intoxicated in a crazy afterhours, again by ghb:

 Warning after Ibiza clubber dies from liquid ecstasy

btw, i had lunch today with a guy who owns various bars near the well known club in playa den bossa and he told me that when he arrived to work the other day he saw various persons lying in the sidewalks near the club in comatose state before all the ambulances arrived, so even if only 19 went to the hospital the number of persons that were affected is definitely higher :!:

btw, some hours ago i heard on the radio that the ADI, asociación de discotecas de ibiza, has already announced more controls inside the clubs (that could be an interesting topic for another day..........). as you probably know the ADI used to include the big 7 although now pacha and es paradis are no longer part of it:

That's really bad news, but people should know the risks involved with a drug like GHB, I haven't had it personally but most of the stories I have heard from people who have taken it, have been horror stories which is enough to stop me trying it.

yeah I agree..
there are better drugs to take than GHB..
its time the the governments made it legal! to stop these bad drugs from hitting the streets and put the home chemists out of business and make it safer for users.. they could regulate it in a way to lower risks...
of GHB would be illegal!!!

yesterday the can misses hospital had to attend another 2 persons who were intoxicated in playa den bossa, apparently, by the same drug:

next week a representative of the balearic government will travel to ibiza to have a reunion with the local authorities, police and club owners
that guy, ramón socias, already visited ibiza last year and josé manuel bar gave him a tour along the problematic spots on the island like the port, sa penya or the west end:

i can just imagine when they passed in front of ground zero (at the right on the picture) and johnny manson said, as usual, ROCK AND ROLL MOTHERFUUUUUCKERS!!

OMG there's loads of them  8O

Is it common knowledge on the island about this and are people just choosing to ignore the known risks :?
