GHB is idiocy, how can you know how much or strength a liquid is. Far too easy to fake or tinker with. Rather than the time consuming process of producing stamped up pills. A friend of mine collapsed and had a fit at savanahs last year and spent the rest of the time in hospital. Idiots.

P.S he's not that close a friend and i wasn't there. I wish the dirty cr*p would disappear! :(

You shouldnt be so naive about pills.

4 persons had to be hospitalized last monday in can misses after taking ghb:

and check this out. ricardo urgell (pacha) speaks about what is happening, including an attack to the afterhours:
the party style of these establishments foments this, the drug consumption, because to stay so many hours you have to take something. its the authorities' fault for allowing these type of establishments. if you keep partying at 10 in the morning you have to take something. this foments the drugs. afterhours foment drugs. the more filth they offer, the more success they have. its unfair because these establishments give us a bad image.

---> all the cake for me, all the cake for meeeee!!

i love this shit, so funny when they attack each other. i still remember the classic interview with david de felipe (amnesia) a couple of years ago in which he attacked EVERYBODY: dc10 for having the poster with the pope smoking a joint, pacha for their connections with the powers-that-be thanks to which they always do what they want, etc, etc, etc and thanks to which he won the antipathy of his colleagues (you can read what the polite danny whittle from pacha replied here). fight fight!!

It will be interesting to see what happens now, especially after Thursday's meeting with "el delegado del Gobierno, Ramón Socías."

Do you know if they've had these kind of meetings before, McRackin?

of course its not. people drop all over the place every week because of ghb. The headlines alone indicate its either more dangerous or harder to control dosage. Look whats been happening in Ibiza recently?? :?:

How do i get the pic to pop up?? its on a website? Thats me waiting for space to open last year

:? :? :? :?

There are is no black and white, no hard and fast rules when it comes to which are the most dangerous drugs.

Remember to some people out there nuts are more dangerous than them all.

by the same rationale, for some people drug A will do more harm than B and for another person vice versa.

Anyone coming for a Brompton Cocktail......?[/i]

A young Irish man died last week after being rushed to hospital in what was thought to be a drug induced coma after feeling ill in a well known disco on the island. Though officially it is thought that the man died of a heart attack, it is supposed that this was possibly brought on by taking drugs mixed with alcohol. Initial hypothesis suggest that the youth most likely consumed liquid ecstasy which had been adulterated or "nexus" which is a new type of stronger hallucinatory drug which is becoming fashionable on the island. At present an autopsy is under way to try to establish the exact cause of death & the police are investigating where the man obtained the drugs which possibly caused his death.
It was also reported that a second drug induced death in late June is still being investigated & again the suspicions are that the man, who was found in a coma on the Vara del Rey in Eivissa, had taken liquid ecstasy.

The police authorities reacted to the drug situation by saying that they were going to adopt a zero tolerance policy to the consumption, sale & possession of such drugs in Ibiza. They said that they were not worried even if they had to close down in mid August certain prestigious entertainment complexes. However the authorities are going to hold meetings with the entertainment & leisure industry on the island as well as with other affected interest groups to decide how best to work together & combat the drugs problem in Ibiza & the bad image this gives the island.

i have been following since midday on different radio stations what happened on the reunion (they interviewed various politicians that were there) and seems like, among other things, they agreed on having weekly reunions (guardia civil/policia with representants of the clubs) and made a list with 10 points, the most surprising one: controlling the opening hours of the afters (the representant of the balearic government even said that in mallorca they forced them to open later which end up in most of them disappearing..........). he repeated a few times that what they want is to finish with the non-stop-partying-and-everything-is-permitted image. all the deatails tomorrow in the newspapers..........

i just saw on the tv images of the reunion and, as expected after the declarations of urgell, the owners of space and pacha were sitting far from each other:

 :o :o :o :o :o

btw, i saw on the news that another person had to be attended in can misses (this time an italian girl) after taking ghb in a very fake party..........

too many long posts in this topic to read the lot but what i will say is that if all the clubbers vacated ibiza san antonio would be empty.....but thats only one town....there are plenty of other places on the island that a downfall in clubbers would have no effect on....but the question is are families turning there back on ibiza? as we all know san an bay is a family spot and its getting very quiet

I dont agree with that at all. People can say no drug is safer than another but im afraid it is. The governmant have class A drugs. it dosent mean all drugs in that class are as bad as each other. Magic mushrooms are now a class A drug, Dosent mean its as bad as heroin.

Ive heard allot more stories about GHB than i have about pills. In what way is it safer?

I dont get it!! why now???? the island has been kicking for almost 20 years drugs have been on the island and clubs for longer!
im sure during the 80's 90's drigs were everywhere and freely people taking it.. but now they decide they dont want that image anymore!!
a Zero tolerance policy! hahahaha wow.. I think this will give ibiza a bad name in many peoples eyes. but a great image boost for other people
still does that stop the chavs from the westend drinking their booze?
thats a pretty ugly scene! im sure many families stay away becuase of that..
young hooligans on the piss falling over each other and throwing up all over street..

dance drugs need to be made legal! their needs to be school education classes for drugs and alcohol , people need to have body checks before they allowed to purchase drugs, better for them and safer, only certain drugs can be sold to them due to their body type etc..
government made drugs also means the safest it can possibly be .
the problem is the people who are dying and uneducated kids about drugs they have no idea that a little SIP of GHB can be seriouly dangerous
mixing it with alcohol etc..
youth today need to be educated on drugs.. becuase drugs are here in soceity and the governments dont want to admit it! they only want to open treatment centres! itsn time to open education centres!

you dont see to many middle aged or experienced drug users dying!!
its usually the young ones who dont know anything about drugs!
and their is no older or wiser person showing him or teaching him
when I first started taking drugs I was 17, did coke, extacy, lsd, speed,
and the person I was with was 35 and he educated me on all the drugs and taught me vital things I need to know..

these kids are dying becuase they have no idea whats going on!

everyone knows the risks when they take drugs....and yes they do kill ya but alot of people are naive and think there invincible....one pill can kill ya fact! aslong as ya know the risks and know u could die then fine do what ya like but if ya scared of dying from them why take em?

basically what they want is to force the afterhours to open later to break the "vicious circle" of club ---> afterhours with various hours between the closing of the clubs and the opening of the afterhours. the rest of the points you can imagine them (more controls, beach parties/raves banned, etc). the ten points are explained in the first link:
