Donald Trump

Trump! Fake news! ??

They now got it on but without sound. I mean how hard is it to push play? Guetta would show them how ?

The fact is this was not a triumph victory for the Democrats as some of the media are promoting.

Despite the failure to control the pandemic in America, the Democrats lost the senate, against all predictions - and Trump, increased his vote by seven million compared to 2016.

He actually increased numbers of votes from Hispanic, Latino, Cuban American and African Americans, which shows us his policy on economics/jobs has been successful for millions of Americans.

Liberals citing this as the end of populism I think are jumping the gun, Biden will have a difficult four years trying to push left policy through a non-Democrat majority senate and dealing with the loss of jobs in the pandemic.

Trumpism is not dead, I would bet that Trump will hold off for these four years with fraud claims, and run in 2024 with a very good chance of being re-elected.

Dunno where you’re getting your info, but it’s all wrong. Trump increased his popular vote count, but the democrats did too by much more due to higher voter turnout.

Trump’s voter demographics shifted slightly. Performed better with Hispanics, but worse with whites.

Democrats didn’t lose the senate. They never had the majority in the first place, but came within a razor’s edge of flipping it.

Just not true.

"About 87% of Black voters nationwide chose Biden over Trump, according to preliminary national exit polling. Those early exit polls show that 19% of Black men voted for Trump, as did 9% of Black women."

When I pointed out he increases his number of votes from Hispanic, Latino, Cuban & African voters it is against 2016 (see graph which supports this).

Trumps popular vote increased from 62 million in 2016 to around 69 million (4 million more than Clinton in 2016).

Democrats lost their projected control of the senate which will prove extremely difficult for Biden to drive through policy. See below:

The fact remains this is not a powerful Biden calling the shots and the end of populism. The Hispanic vote I suspect rose amongst trump due to seeing their South American countries pursue a failed socialism project which Biden has been labelled with. In the aftermath of the virus, Trump will more then likely, run on the rhetoric to build back America in 2024 which will aim to win back them white college men he lost this time around.

“Lost the projected control of the senate” lmao wut?

Trump is a one term loser who got blown out by a mediocre democratic candidate. Farewell.

what's clear is your country is massively divided - and this divide has grown during the trumpster's presidency.

yes trump got more votes than in 2016, but as neo correctly said, the democrats achieved the most votes ever with a mediocre candidate. to me that speaks volumes.

I think there is truth in some of your statement.

We certainly didn’t really see a ‘blue wave’ as predicted.

Both candidates seemed to limp over the finish line, equally as worn out and knackered looking.

Sleepy Joe and Camel toe will certainly have their work cut out over the next four years.

I honestly can’t see Joe Biden going the distance. Has trouble finishing his sentences, never mind a 4 year term in office.

I think the question is when will VP Harris take over, not if. I suppose it’s all about timing and how she can tie it into the 2024 election.

I imagine if she takes over sooner it will be classed as serving a term, meaning she can only run for one more term?

The vote in USA is basically to remove Trump rather than vote for the Democrats. Life for non-Whites has become almost untenable in parts of the USA but the Florida Hispanics will never forgive the Democrats for re-establishing links to Cuba, whatever the policies of the alternative party. Fact remains Trump is a lying manipulative egotist who is already on the very brink of insanity. Four years and a bunch of lawsuits on, there's pretty good odds he will be certifiable, hopefully by then someone will manage to establish it clinically !
