Yeah I can relate to this a little.Yeah that's exactly the point, if you don't get where other person is coming from, shit goes sideways. But the BLM movement don't help themselves with all the "mansplaning", which talks down to you about white privilege & why you wrong not to agree with them, which is a turn off.
Instead of trying to explain their experiences and view point & engaging.
Just seems many are happy to increase tribalism and division of us and them ?
I fully support the BLM but during its peak I felt some of the messages that were doing the rounds on social media were a tad aggressive in trying to make me feel ashamed because I'm white.
Even though I don't want it, nor ever asked for it, I cannot deny that white privelege exists and that I have probably benefited from in many times (without even realising).
But should I feel ashamed of myself??
