No sign of things easy up in Italy which is concerning. And the people seeming to be losing patience with lockdown

I was just saying to my mate that when this hopefully dies down in a few months I think the rest of 2020 might be really good. Everyone in good spirits and new found appreciation in nature, family/friends, and the simple things in life we take for granted

Maybe not in terms of ibiza as it may be too late for that to fully thrive again but one can hope.
 
I went to get my food shop yesterday, it really hits home what is happening when you are stood waiting to enter the store and have to keep distance from others, still feels surreal to me.

I can’t see my trip to Ibiza in September happening. I hope I’m wrong and I know a trip to Ibiza is really nothing in the grand scheme of things, I’ll just be glad to get back what we call normal again. Stay safe everyone ?

Italy has started to show signs of slowing the growth. They are still seeing new cases but they are doing more tests. What you need to look for is % of tests positive, which is actually going down. There is growth in case numbers but it’s no longer exponential.

Deaths will remain high as they tend to lag infections by a couple of weeks.

Wuhan was locked down for 2 whole months. Italy only started March 8. There is still a long way to go in this.
 
First night of lockdown here , went for a walk after work and met 3 people walking dogs and no cars,all shops closed only the offie was open and doing deliveries..lol..im Off work for the next 9 days.. fckn hell...?

How u gona survive 9 days... Try two weeks... And another two to go... Not convinced lockdown will be over for Spain mid April either

We're two different .. she likes going for walks very late and no music or talking. I like talking shit and listening to music.. we done the Walk thing last weekend so it's shit talk tonight..? and sneaky porn.. so many Corona virus cam girls these last 2 weeks
 
Hi! New here. I live in NYC where we have been quarantined for 3 weeks, but cases are still rising by the minute. I hope all of you are safe and well, wherever you are. ?

My wedding was planned for Spain in May, which included a trip to Ibiza opening weekend. Given the conditions, we are postponing everything of course. I was wondering if anyone here has any updates on club season possibly extending to late October? Or when this will be decided? It's probably difficult to know with everything being so unpredictable, but just wondering if anyone had any insight given ADE is late October as well.

welcome to the forums :)

as you correctly assume it's very difficult to give any forecast right now. there are so many factors playing a role, but currently this is the range of options I can see:

in a best case scenario, the island has half a season, say from july onwards or from august. and IF that is the case, IF there's tourists coming, IF there's enough flight connections then I am sure some of the clubs will stay open until halloween rather than only the first or second week of october.

worst case scenario: there's no ibiza 2020 season, simply because the virus hasn't been beaten yet within europe and no one is allowed to or wants to travel.

and in between those two scenarios there are many variables. one possibility is that clubs can't open at all this summer (because err let's face it, they are places where viruses could spread very easily) or just with a far lower capacity than what they normally have. or also, if it takes too long until things get back to normal, some clubs might decide it's just not worth to set up everything for just one or two months this year.

for now it is a waiting game. not just for ibiza, but right now it's not even sure ADE will be held the way it usually is. the reality is, 2020 will be an entirely different year for everyone on this planet!
