So basically, if it's not part of that batch they are carrying on?
I am not sure if they are holding all of the batches as per media have said

Until investigation for around two weeks then won't be resumed, shame about the setback but they have to hold and investigate until at least reviewed, some people still won't want it but some maybe after the investigation conducted,

hope they can get back on track and in the meantime can also start using johnson and johnson vaccines which is one shot

More lunacy 🤷‍♂️ ...how are we supposed to be confident about coming over to the Balearics when Europeans are not only failing to get vaccination programmes accelerated but letting in visitors from countries with a large case uptick just in time to trigger a new wave of prevalence on the islands to coincide with travel restrictions easing here ? There's no way they should be planning on Easter getaways from Germany to Spain under these circumstances. Heck, the rate where I live is now 4 per 100,000 (yes, FOUR) and there's no outdoor mixing allowed in private gardens until a week after Easter.

So as it looks likely the smear tactics may be blown away very soon once again, EU now threatening to cut off pfizer and moderna supplies to UK until EU vaccination rates catch up amidst their own bumbling incompetence. In reality they would also block Janssen. She has a total bee in her bonnet about not getting their hands on AZ stocks and this is an all out ransom threat,

UK has never stood in the way of AZ exporting UK stocks to EU. It is a private company. Now that their own bumbling negotiations have left them with a deal they have no real leverage to enforce against AZ they are trying to ransom UK as a country to intervene in a private company's affairs. It is, quite frankly, despicable and the sooner we develop markets outside the EU for as much as we can to be shot of the spiteful petty attitudes over there the better. They really don't realize how much damage they are doing to opinions of even ardent anti-Brexiteers like me. I am now actually glad we left and hope UK never goes back. Good riddance EU.

Ironic that the uk "surge" this week and beyond is actually due to a large shipment of AZ from India...💁‍♂️

How come these wealthy hospital/clinics owners, jump queue to get their vaccine ?

Johann Rupert received the coronavirus vaccine at a Swiss clinic his family owns before it was available to the public. Has the South-African luxury goods billionaire jumped the queue?

The American Hospital of Paris, located in the exclusive neighbourhood of Neuilly-sur-Seine, had reportedly given vaccine doses to some 20 members of its board of governors and donors.

And since this was posted countries are banning the AZ vaccine. Still gonna take the risk?

And since this was posted countries are banning the AZ vaccine.

No country which approved the AZ vaccine has banned it. There's no basis for pauses to vaccination programmes, the whole world is baffled by the actions of certain EU politicians who are going against the advice of the WHO and their own medical agencies, and in doing so putting the lives of European citizens at risk.

Doesn't sound safe to be honest.
On the one hand, you have 11m doses administered in the UK with no unexpected issues. Indeed a lower number of clotting incidents than would be expected in an unvaxinated population.

The other side of the argument are countries within an organisation which failed to procure a good enough contract to deliver the supplies they need, so then set out on a campaing to damage the reputation of a very effective and safe (approved by the MHRA, EMA and endorsed by the WHO) vaccine and are now threatening to block exports.

I know which side of the argument I’m on.

I will take any vaccine which is offered to me. Gladly.

Apparently the uk funded AZ to build new plants in UK to meet demand, with first 100m doses going to uk.

EU contract with AZ says supply from uk factories but implied after uk contract fulfilled.

So EU are in a tizzy
