3rd outbreak in a Devon care home where residents are awaiting second vax reported today. Overwhelmingly higher number of staff infected than residents at this one. It's looking increasingly like people got sloppy after the initial vaccine they will all deny it I'm sure ... also a report that cancer patients had virtually no protection after one pfizer vax and only had a significant immune response after their 2nd dose. The one size fits all approach may be all that's manageable on the current scale but extremely vulnerable groups don't seem to be getting much at all in terms of initial protection off a single dose of vaccine at least with the pfizer.

As usual El Pais has a really good article explaining how the virus can spread so easily in certain environments - and why in the north of Spain there were so many people dying in apartment blocks.

Done. Now, where’s the rave?

My back lawn tonight. Coming?? Note - you will need wireless headphones - not arsed about the neighbours being bothered by the din, but Mrs Blue Tit has just arrived in her nest, and if I disturb her I'll be toast.
Oh, and I'll be testing everyone for covid. Via the chinese testing method. If you ask nicely.

What method is it if I don’t ask nicely? And is there a guy in the loo selling lollies and a spray of Lynx Africa?

The ordinary up-your-nose method....
As for the loo, there will be a plate to leave 25c on, and I'm sure those lollies can be dipped in sherbet. Maybe something to get you over the chinese covid test...

Little update. 8 hours later, feeling a touch achey and fluey, but that could also be because I was on the roof trying to stop a leak in the fecking rain this afternoon!
That's pretty normal. Last Sat I felt OK after the jab, but it got me a bit on the Sunday, so just slept it off.

Apart from the fact it's pouring down outside, sat in the conservatory with laptop and speakers listening to Ibiza Sonica Club (decent bouncing tunes right now) with a bottle or red sat in the fridge rising to room temperature. Gonna open that up in....10....9...
