I use evidence based approach. Not Facebook but scientific peer reviewed articles and things with multiple sources.

You know like science does.

I guess some people just don't have the capacity of rational and methodical thought to understand that and are happy to parrot things with no evidence or empirical data.

Just hope/glad these people ain't designing cars, nuclear power plants or making my toilet roll

It's a never-ending story and also and unbalanced image. Just show a stock photo from the ambulance or the ICU unit and it will speak to our imagination. But depressed youngsters? People seeing their lifelong dream collapse? Children not being able to go to school? Collateral damage. It's time a more broad spectrum of wise men and women are brought into the discussion to determine the policy. Not just doctors.
Luckily we are on the verge of breaking away from letting only medical experts lead our countries. Perhaps the British variant and the South African variant helped them to gain a bit more leverage on the world leaders again but it seems other fields of expertise are finally joining in and saying there is more than just covid we should look at. If we leave it up to the docs alone, we will even keep some measures till the end of times.

LOL...you have quite the memory. And yeah it's all there. Never lied a word about it.
Law & aviation, not a strange combo if you put your mind to it.

Doctors should always be included....wether they share my view or not, but governments relied too much on doctors alone.
